Ged Hopper Excrutiating Dirge Nulli Tertius 0	Posted - 2012.02.29 03:37:00 - [1] - Quote Imagine you're on a roam with a few corp mates, just 2 BCs, a dominix, and ceptor scout. You're in mid-warp when the scout calls out what every pilot dreads: "20+ coercer fleet incoming". As you land on gate, a rapier decloaks and webs your corpmate. The FC calls it: "Rapier is primary. We have to take him down." You activate your turrets, and slowly the rapier begins to melt, but it refuses to release your corpmate. His destroyer buddies could be landing at any time now. "Overheat, overheat!" Calls out the FC. Just as coercers begin piling through the gate, the rapier finally pops. You mash warp towards the sun and thankfully make it out just as they start to yellow box you. You begin to celebrate until you hear: "I'm scrammed." You are sad-panda, about to give condolences, when you hear: "Never mind, I'm out. I killed the destroyer pointing me and got out." At Excruciating Dirge, we not only seek the good fights, we want pilots who can help us pull it off. Specifically, we seek players who can capably fill vital fleet roles, such as skilled scouts, logistics, recons, and t3 fleet ships. Short of that, we want intelligent, sensible pilots who are willing to learn. Members should also speak English, have a history of competent PVP, and use TeamSpeak to communicate. What we do: Excruciating Dirge is a nullsec small-gang PVP corporation. Currently, we reside in Delve where we bear and Geminate where we campaign as part of the Nulli Tertius alliance. In general, we field all ships, but many of our older pilots lean towards the shinier hulls. Most of our fights are small-gang but we also participate in fleet OPs and everything in between. Who we are: Ours is a closely-knit corp that prefers to keep numbers small and collective pilot quotient high. We have a wide variety of players from different walks of life, from all over the globe, and with some very different personalities (great for lulz). What binds us together is the fun and thrill of PVP. Our core is composed of highly experienced pilots who have flown together for many years. From solo, small-gang, faction, large fleet to black-ops, MAIM members have been involved in it. Even though we stress competence in the field of battle, we understand that at the end of the day, it's just a game. Firstly, it's all about having fun. Secondly, real life takes precedence.
