1st attempt after reading around. Expecting flames, but would prefer constructive comment. Specced to skill hence the T1 Dronages.

Having spoken to a few people and witnessed one in action, I think my main tactic is to get up close and knacker the tracking. not sure if this is viable or not, and if it is whether i'd need the dual rep.
Having issues with my cap while dual repping, but npt sure if the NOS is a fix or not, as if I do gedt in a bind that requires a dual rep, then I'm already in trouble.
Advice? |

I don't think it's possible to run a decent dual-rep without a cap booster in PvP. ---- In the beginning the Universe was created. This has made a lot of people very angry and has been widely regarded as a bad move. - The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, Douglas Adams |

Some general comments (hopefully, not flamey!): - T1 rigs - T2 hardeners/reppers (or best named if you can't use them yet) - Greaves, Booster Rockets, and Strigoi are cosmos aren't they? Try just using the regular named mods (Accommodation, YT-8, and Unstable for instance) - Cap boosters are win in PVP - 3x EANM > 3x Hardener
With this in mind: 2x neut, 4x blasters MWD, Disruptor, Web, Cap Booster (electrochem), TD 2x Rep, 3x EANM, MFS 2x Rep Amt, Rep Speed
-Liang -- Naturally, I do not in any way speak for my corp or alliance. |

I had to laugh, you have of course checked the cost of this killa fit, and you're ok with spending all that money on a T1 battlecruiser?

Judging from the information above - no, funnily enough.

Isn't 2x EANM + DC better than 3x EANM though?

the third EANM is worse than a DC for armor resistances, plus the DC gives you time in hull.

Edited by: Katrina Coreli on 20/04/2008 18:48:43 Im going to try and keep this constructive.
Firstly there is your choice of modules.
At the time of writing there are no Strigoi Medium NOS or Digital booster Rockets for sale anywhere in the whole of EVE. There are two Greaves Med Reps for sale for a crippling 80 mil each.
Secondly there is your tank. With the EM nerf the 3 Hard tanks just dont work as well cause any Amarr ship (the Harbie) will tear you a new one.
Thirdly there is no way in hell you can keep 2 med reps going without a medium cap booster. EFT may show that those 2 Med NOS keep you going but im afraid EVE doeesnt work like that.
Fourthly, Tech 2 Rigs? good luck getting them for a reasonable price.
I would go for
Lows 2 x EANM 1 x DCU 2 x Medium Armor Rep 1 x 1600 plate
Meds 1 x Warp Disruptor 2 x Stasis Web 1 x YT8 10MN MWD 1 x Electrochem Med Injector
Highs 3 x Med Electron Blaster 3 x Small Energy Neut/Small Neutrons
Rigs 2 x Aux Nano Pump 1 x Nano Bot Accel
Tanks a horendous amount, has a good amount of passive hp. Best possible tank you can get on the thing. You can swap those small neuts for small Blasters and it may be preferable.
Duel Webs are so damned useful for counter webbing, making blaster boats cry as you keep them out of range and web enemy drones.
Just my thoughts.

Taking it all on board. Currently laptopping, so unable tro check prices. Also didn't bother to look at the Techage on items.
Removing the cosmos items etc cheapens it out.
Minor gripe with energy grid, but a skill up seems to solve.
Just trying to think whether a dual rep is realistic, and whether or not it's going to see much use.

You know...when I clicked on this thread, I said to myself, "no matter how bad this build is going to be, I will answer seriously and give him good advice". Looking at your advice, all I have to say is, hahaha, scrub.

Ok, i'm now going to give you some good advice. Given that you do not even have T2 drones of any flavour, let alone T2 tank then you are ENTIRELY too low skilled to be in that boat. Step away from the battlecruiser and get serious with training a decent Vexor/Thorax fit first.

still rocking out in the vexor - tech 2's this week dronewise.
Armour rep was more a cost consideration. Accomplished bugger all in this thread as everyones opinions seem to differ.

Well, if you want to try out PVP in low-sec belts...Thorax/Vexor are perfect for that dude. Speed tanked vexor actually won me a good prize in a cruiser tournament, although with your nav skills it might not be viable, but thorax/vexor can take down another cruiser easily, if you get lucky you can take down a battlecruiser, just not under sentry guns.
