KIA wardeced and retracted a war with BOB. The war had mixed results so far for both sides. Bob deployed Dice's corp empire carebear wing to carry the fight to KIA alliance in empire. Why did KIA retract war after only a day.
According to KIA killboard, Kresh Vladir of Obsidian Inc of KIA Alliance commented after loosing his vagabond,

This loss have been petitioned cause it was f******* bs with desync and a teleporting ship, i also lost my snakes etc so 2.5b loss, thanks for r***** me in b** CCP

We planned to start contract on Sunday, unfortunately this was put back till Tuesday, so we war decced Bobbie for some fun whilst we waited.
We got careless and mucked about a bit too much, lost a few ships, killed a few ships, but all in all it kept the boys busy whilst we prepped for tomorrow.
As for Kreshes loss, sht happens.
Absolutely as always no need for smack in anyway, guess thats beyond a few people though.

Now now seld im sure thats because they had their fearsome remote rep close range bship fleet already in empire to prepare for "the contract" . We should consider us lucky we did not have to face this incredibly mobile , well thought out and perfectly executed battleball of KIA in 0.0. I am pretty sure we would have difficulties hitting them from 150km once they deployed their drones !

I checked the KIA killboard, a few losses but it seems like they've been killing DICE noobs in 0.0 and empire for most of last week, including a few in 1-n on Saturday night where the noob FC Lady Scarlet warped her fleet straight into a mass of smartbombing carriers - now that's EVEN funnier.

By looking at both killboards, I would say it looks like both had fun, the real difference is that the kia people seem to be quite polite in all this and the bob people just seem to spraff off, you just make yourselfs look like ****s tbh.

First of all whilst I appreciate the mention for TNT Alliance (no publicity is bad publicity) I am not comfortable it is being used to denigrate an alliance with whom TNT has held in high regard since our work alongside them as part of their alliance during 2007.
Whilst neutral to KIA and vice versa we remain on amiable terms and I would prefer not to have people use us as a stick to poke at KIA with.
I would hope that TNT has enough of a solid reputation to stand on its own two feet after two years of Professional Mercenary Work and as such we would prefer to let our own work do its talking rather than have our name used to sling mud at our competitors.

Good mercs need to know when to fight and I cannot see the point of wardecing an 0.0 alliance except to kill there empire noobs. However an alliance like BOB probably does not have empire noobs.

Comparing TnT to KIA.....
TnT have according to their killboard killed 11 ships in April, lost 9... In all of April?
March wasn't much better
KIA have killed over 400 ships in April lost 50, over 700 in March lost 100.
They have gone to empire, decced a few corps according to EddZ, whilst they wait for a contract to start.
They lost a few ships, killed a few ships. Talking to a good friend in KIA last night he mentioned the fights in Amarr and said they were slide shows, also said KIA didn't overly care about a few ship losses here n there, living in 0.0 means they all have plenty of cash. They were more interested in getting fights.
And since when has Mercs effectiveness been measured by k/d ratio..??
ItÆs measured by their results, by them getting the job done. In fact if your willing to throw your ships into a fight NOT knowing the outcome as it looks like KIA are most of time, youÆre far more likely to achieve an employers objectives.
Overall I like KIA, they keep it real, and this thread just looks like a load of bitter lemons from BoB and BoB alts, looking to attempt to embarrass KIA at any given opportunity due to KIAs involvement in the taking of Period Basis from BoB.
All they are actually doing, as pretty much always on these forums, is embarrassing themselves.
