Eve went live last year in May.
should we have sime kind of celebration for a year of eve.
anyone remember the exact go-live date?

in the UK it was 06 May 2003...
I was born 7 hours after it went live

Roumor has it we all get 10 free Jovian Battleships as a prize when we turn 1.
This however depends on which planet you where born on, as one year is denoted as 1 revolution of the planet around the sun.
Most planets in Eve take at least 50-60 Earth years for a rotation...

Ok if it was the 6th then maybe an event can be setup arount the 8th and 9th of may. Maybe a whole weekend event...
Plus it will be the first clear weekend after all the hardware updates.
Maybe CCP santa should deliver some presents to us all :P

There should be events/competitions and the winners get to name the elite Cruisers.

It can't be then - that's my birthday weekend and I'll be far too busy / drunk / enjoying the spring sunshine / drunk to play.
Although I suppose I could stamp my foot and shout "It's my birthday and I'll play if I want to!"

16 th of may it got distrubuted in the Netherlands if I remember correctly. At least 2 days before the rollback
(gawd was i p'ssed that the US got the first launch opertunities )

The UK got the first launch on May 6th, I still remember the b|tching that came down from the US as they were a couple of weeks behind
They were "interesting" times, some major bugs and gripes from a lot of players, but I think those same players saw a great future for the game and stuck with it through good times and bad.
I for one would like to wish all the originals "happy birthday" for May 6th and may we all have many more

Crucial screwed up badly. They need to be nailed to a humpbacked whale by their eyelids.
