Hi,
I got the 'astrometrics' skill with my character (rank3) but I have no idea what it does... All the description says is 'allows the operations of long range scanners' but under the attributed tab there are no modifiers etc.
Can anyone let me know what it does, its been sitting on level 1 for 3 months now!

I have good news. Within one month that skill is going to be activated, along with the Covert Ops frigates. They are part of the Covert Ops package, and it's probably this skill which will interact with the scanners that can find people in safespots, and then let you warp to that safespot.

Hopefully they won't make it that easy. I was hoping it would have a "warp xxxxxxxxx km" feature... it still makes it possible to find safespots, but not a one-click thing.

What are the requirements to train the skill?

At this moment Astrometrics is listed as requiring Science level 3.
Cloaking skill, for your information, is listed as Rank 6, and need Electronics 5.
Hypereuclidian Navigation (lessen cloaked speed penealty) is a rank 6, and require Cloaking 3 and Electronics 5.
And those are the basic stats on the Covert Ops skills.
(Prices on these skills range from 0 to 80k, so they are inaccurate)
