I have got my T2 (conflegation) or something, it says in their info tracking multiplyer .25% or something. Now that tell me the tracking should be a bit better right? Well it actually gets worse, it got from .04 to .02 per second, is it suppose to get worse or is it a glitch?

no..
think back to basic math... what happens when you multiply anything by .25% or 1/4 of its value.

In almost all close-medium cases, you're better off using faction ammo over the tech two versions. ___ Eve Players are not very smart. Support Killmail Overhaul

unlike t2 ships and modules which are better in almost every way t2 ammo has some large drawbacks, for example the most damaging close range ammo tends to have very bad tracking as you have found out.
instead of conflag try getting some amarr navy multi freq's, no penalties, great damage and lasts a lot longer than the conflag.
the scorch is still useful though, it gives you great dps out at range, which you will need for some of the tougher snipers out there. Because sometimes you just have to go back to your roots: [2005.02.20 01:08:03] (combat) Your Civilian Light Electron Blaster perfectly strikes Serpentis Smuggler, wrecking for 20.3 damage |

Navy mf > conflag, not just because it has more range, more cap and superior tracking but because conflag has an even damage split so while conflag does one more unit of damage per second on paper, the proportionally superior em damage on navy ammo means you will all ways hit harder than the tii ammo Also your tracking and range means you will land a greater number of good shots on your mark. ***The EVE servers and their patches*** |

I'd recommend Amarr Navy Multifrequency instead. About 1.5% less damage, no penalties whatsoever (except less homosexual ray colour). --- CEO

If you can use Scorch, use it. If you can't, then probably Microwave for similar range (but the damage 'aint all that great, so train up T2 asap ). --- CEO

Nope, it's pretty good like the rest of the short-range-gun-long-range-ammo types. It has a range bonus placing it between Microwave and Radio L and the damage of Gamma L, similar to Null L which has the range of Iron and the damage of Plutonium. Barrage however has the same range bonus as Carbonised Lead and does the damage of EMP, just with no EM damage. I love Violet! It is the prettiest color in the whole wide world!!! I like toast. Edited by: The Djego on 22/04/2008 00:07:39 Scorch is the best Amno if you need Range hands down. Conflag vs AN Multifreqency is another Story. It mostly depends on the Target, Web and resistances(MF has a diffrent EM/Thermal splitt). Since the EM Resistance Nerf AN MF tend to be better in most cases, but not at all. Void/CN Anti faces the same issues, but Void is still a very good Amno in many cases because of the higher Thermal Damage and the better Optimal. ---- Nerf Tank - Boost Gank!

Not quite. Barrage has a falloff bonus and Carb has an optimal bonus. Completely different.
