Short resume : 80 vs 80 (I can't be more accurate our kb died ), something like 20 minutes of fight. At the end, TCF hold the field and was chasing remaining of -AAA- fleet when CVA thought it'ld be the good time to come and get all loots . So TCF VS AAA is won by CVA Anyway cu soon all on the battlefield ! Si Vis Pacem, Para Bellum. Last TCF 's IRL meeting

Black Jumper Altera Odyssea Tau Ceti Federation	Posted - 2008.04.21 22:31:00 - [3] Fast battle report posted on other topic : TCF fleet forms up to have more fun with CVA / Paxton guys tonight. 72 man fleet forms up, maybe 20 BS approximately. We come to Misaba gate and wait 1 good hour for our friendly foes to form up and pew pew. 21:00 ET ; no news and we decide to get back home. On the way back, a 80 (?) man AAA gang is spotted by the scout in MH9 on TET gate, around 40 BS and support. Our fleet advances to MH9 gate in TET. A few minutes go by with AAA BS at snipe point 100km from the gate. As we had a close range fit this time we wonder what to do ... as one of our 3 logistic gets happily podded, having a deathwish and jumping on the other side. AAA finally decides to jump in and the figt begins. It quickly seems to turn to our advantage. The fight is fierce, lasting 20 min maybe and AAA fleet finally flees among many of its wrecks in flames and quite a few of ours too. We follow them to a planet and kill 2 more BS. Time to head back to the gate for looting as it seems some AAA are on the gate again. As we arrive we see another hostile gang ! Paxton and CVA have finally arrived and carnage ensues as fire comes from everywhere. I can't really speak about numbers here but after 10 minutes the rest of our fleet flees ... and Paxton / CVA, in a really opportunistic move, holds the field. Killboard is actually down but tune in tomorrow for battle summary numbers. Great fun again and, well good job Paxton/CVA for this treacherous move ! --- 22:31:49 Notify Archon belonging to Galavet self-destructs.

I think it is fair to say that a lot of players are interested to hear about medium and large fleet engagements. What tactics were used? Who held the field? Did anyone use Super Capitals? These reports give players an insight into what is happening in regions all over the EVE Universe. It lets them know which sides are disputing space and who is fighting in what area. I believe that if players make a genuine effort to tell us a battle story then we should all make an effort to reply constructively or simply refrain from posting troll or snide comments.

According to the map, 2-Teg was the hottest killzone in Eve for a 24 hour period, with over 120 ships lost, not including pods. In fact, if you look at the G7/FSW/QBL pocket daily, you'll see this little corner of Providence often tops the charts for ship kills weekly. There is a lot happening and it's reports like these and battles like these that make the game fun.

CVA/Paxton and friends, which i didn't know, are really cool guys to play with. Keep it up guys ! I find it comforting that the mods actually read what is being posted on these forums and that they express support to the majority of us that are actually more interested in things like battlereports and good and objective write-ups on the politics, instead of one-liner alt trolls.
