The biggest problem with the game I have seen is the manual/documentation, or lack there of. Maybe there is some doc I haven't found yet that will explain the nuances, if so point me too it PLEASE. It lead to a few wasted purchases before I figured out all the requirements for items.
Graphically - this game is a beautifully done, if not a little monotonous. I probably haven't been playing long enough yet to fully qualify that statement.
Interface - I'm figuring out what everything means, a good manual would have been a benefit.
Ships - Showing a newbie how to outfit a ship would be nice, still havent't found anything that will fit in the (-) slot on my particular ship.
Brokers - Haven't found one, don't know what good they are.
Repackaging - Found the explaination for this right before posting this. Now I can get rid of some of those things I bought not knowing I couldn't use them.
Corps - Haven't formed or joined one. Thinking of just forming one with my 3 Charactors to share the wealth. I assume a lot of people may do this. Is there any other advantage in this or is it just a waste of time?
My little review turned into more of a mini rant/Q&A, sorry about that. I'm giving this the 30 day free period to decide if it is worth the monthly fee. Right now I am leaning towards continuing, but I haven't really interacted with others yet. I will probably wait to see what kind on in game community there is. I tend to judge online games by the people who play as much as by the games themselves. (a longtime subspace player, for those who know the game)

Well I hope you did the tutorial in the beginning completely that will tell you allot.
Then about low slot items that are usely booster like cargo expanders and things like that just do show info on the item and you see what type of item it is.
Repackeging isnt that hard just open the repair bay window in the station and click on the select item button and then select the item you want to repackage and then click on the repackage button you only have to do the repackaging when you used it your self.

hmmmm. ok, I am a n00b. I have played 48 hours. In no way do I feel qualified to write a review so I admire the guts it took to do this. My only remark is about the comment on lack of documentation. I read the bok that came with the game and I read what was on this site, then I began participating in the tutorials. This has taught me what I need to know to successfully be a n00b.
If there were cheats and hacks and macros and spoilers published all over the place I would not have been interested in this game. I was an original UO player, an original AC player and an original Shadowbane player. I dont like Shadowbane at all but UO and AC were both excellent games until spoilers, macros, cheats, and other stuff became very readily available.
Whats the point of a MMORPG if everything there is to explore and learn and do is handed to you on a silver platter. Rant over

Documentations are very hard to do in MMORPGs simply because things are constantly changing. My best advice is to either join the in game chat channel HELP, or to post specific questions in this forum :)

Buy the strategy guide *snicker* =P
But seriously, it all comes with experience, the more you get into the game the more you'll figure out how everything works, and the more you'll enjoy it. I spent my first 2 days looking around asking myself "What the heck am I supposed to be doing?", luckily I found a good corp right off the bat which helped IMMENSLY. Try to join a corp with more experienced players, even if only for a little while.

Documentation is very hard to keep current in MMOGs, simply because things change with every patch.
There is a support knowledge base at http://support.eve-online.com, also you can access the knowledgebase and the EVE Oracle in-game, by pressing the Help button on the Neocom. And, as Wrangler mentioned, you can also ask for help in the Help channel or on the lovely forums. :) --

Yes you can have one of your chars who has enoug ISK start a corporation then have your other chars join it. The flip side to doing this is that you now are part of a corporation with all the added positive and negitive additions. One of the positive's being you can own stations. And one of the negitives is that another corporation can declare war on you.
