What would be a good setup for a Vexor in solo or small gang pvp? And what are the advantages of using a Vexor over a Myrmidon, except price?(if there are any)
Was thinking about a setup with 1600 or 800 RT plates, t2 mediums and mabe some NOS and rails/blasters together with standard tackling gear and a MWD.
Could semi-nanoing this ship work, if there is such a thing? Preferably no rigs or expensive modules, since its for pvp and im low on both sp and experience.

The above setup is very good against some hac's, but I would suggest going for
2 small nos 3 small neut
Switch injector for web
Switch low slots to 1600mm 2 eanm II 1 dc II

My Vexor I use for pvp in a small gang, it's a drone setup.
Highs: 2 Small NOS, 3 Drone Range modules (forget the names)
Meds: Drone Navigation mod, Sensor Booster with range script, Barton cap recharger
Lows: 1600 rolled tungston 2 basic energy armor upgrades (the both give 10% bonus to armor), 1 named MAR.
So far it works, even when I got targeted, I had time to get my drones in and warp out, multiple ships were targeting me and I was through my shield and armor, but got out with zero hull damage.
I use T2 Warrior 2's for nanos, and T2 hobgoblins (just because I have them) for everything else. I have yet to be in range of the NOS's but so far so good.

The setup I use is this
4 Light Neutron blasters with AM
MWD scram web (sometimes i use a second scram if i know the target has a WCS fit)
1600 RT plate, SAR, DC and EANM
Drones: 3x Oger II's and 5 Warrior II's
I find it pointless to use a MAR since you cap out in an engagement if you are running scram, web and the mwd (to get into range). A SAR also gives you the chance to rep some (50dps sustained) during and after an engagement. I also use 3 Ogers due to they fact they the have more hps and will survive getting shot at longer and smartbombs. Well hope this helped.
-edit- I either use a Small Nos or a salvager in the last high. It's really up to you. |

If you're going for gank you may as well fly a thorax. A standard vexor fit
1600 plate
small rep
specific hardener/eanm
damage control
ab/mwd
web
scram
4 light guns and nos/drone link
drones:
dps set: 2 heavy/2 mid/1 light
speed set: 5 lights
Use the lights on anything quick or up to destroyer size.
