Is this for real? I mean really, WTF!?!?!
Are CCP aware that this is being used?
Is the log server even supposed to be used for that purpose?
How much lag does this place on the log server is 2500 goons are using it?
What's the polling/update interval?
Even if this is "legal" it's certainly not very "in keeping" with the game. Sure I can understand people using Evemon and EFT - this gives NO REAL-TIME TACTICAL ADVANTAGE! A tool like this does.
Why can't the Goons use scanners and keep an eye on local like the rest of us?

Dear Ashlee Darksky,
Are you aware that the "Logserver" is a CCP-developed application bundled with the EVE client, and it runs locally (not on the EVE server), and all the logserv does is monitor the client's behaviour for debug purposes ?
As such, there is no "lag" because of "stuff that watches the logserver".
And, a tool like this provides you with nothing more of a tactical advantage than, say, WATCHING LOCAL WITH YOUR OWN EYES in the first place.
Truth be told, I see no reason why this shouldn't be implemented in a future feature of the EVE client itself, the different types of beeps when a hostile or a wartarget enters local.
