So I recently started doing this, red the guide and found some sites succesfully, but now...
The past few days, I drop my Multispectralprobe and find lets say a Radar signature. The system is perfect, I can put one 4AU probe at ever planet, but still I get no results!!! not even after 3 times...
Now the question is, should I continue scanning or is it just not gona happen?
What am I doing wrong here .

Thanks for your replies.
I have yet to discover what the 30 milion sisters launchers has for advantages other then that you can launch the next probe faster ?
Also what about these myths in the guid "don't warp off or press scan or cloak if your launcher is still blinking"?
Sometimes my solar system map does not show the 'bubbles' from my probes wich make it sometimes impossible to know where you just were, or where there will be overlap...
any answers?

That's the advantage, and a huge advantage it is for most people. Quicker scans = more scans and less probe dropping = more iskies for your time.
But when you drop a probe, you warp to the next spot to drop another probe, surely even if the next BM is only 5000km away, your launcher will be done blinking in order for you to drop the next probe, what advantage am I missing of the sisters launcher....???

Originally by: Tsanse Kinske Ah, I understand now. No, the bonus to duration doesn't affect the activation time of the launcher, it affects the time it takes to analyze your probes.
e.g., max skilled, rigged up CovOps, no implants...
Scan Probe Launcher: 122 seconds to analyze SoE Scan Probe Launcher: 91 seconds to analyze
omg /me runs to contract place, bought one !!!

Last but not least... I've been plunging threw all the availble ships, there seem to be no cruiser sized vessile that has the same scanspeed bonusses then the covertops or their tech I causins, minus amarr offcourse (no tech I hoodie ).
Is this a correct assumption?

Well this has certainly been helpfull, thank you.
Now it seems we need cruisersized exploration ships, or atleast a cruiser with scanning bonus, would be sweet, exploration is fun:)

One other thing, are the multispectral probes also chancebased e.g. you may need multiple scans, or do they tell the truth about a systems content regarding sites after one scan...

Originally by: Yaar Podshipnik Multifreqs always tell the contents of the system on the first scan, no chance involved. They don't tell you the number of sites though. So if you get a rad or mag hit it means 1 or more sites of that type.
thats what my exprience tells me also
