Hi, just wondering if you guys could help me out a bit here.
I need a costume for a fancy dress day coming up soon. Now the theme is catoon characters but I don't want to get a whole body suit type costume (so nothing like the teenage mutant ninja turtles) and was wondering what I could do. I want it to be recognisable enough that I don't get every single person saying "who are you meant to be" but also don't want to be wearing the same as everyone else.
I'm quite slim and average height if that helps at all as to what you think may suit me.
So far all I have really come up with is Gambit from The X-men, after that I ran out of ideas.
Any help appriciated and thanks in advance.

What materials are available? You could cobble together a Ghostbusters or G.I. Joe outfit if you had the right props and such. |

How about dressing up as one of the TF2 characters? You probably can't go as a spy for obvious reasons, but the engineer, medic, and heavy are highly recognizable toons.

Edited by: Benco97 on 22/04/2008 17:20:51 Go as a Moomin, I recommend either Moomin Papa or The Groke. Both would be easy costumes and surely most people will recognise them.
*edit* but both would need more costume that you'd like.. hmm.. I didn't think that one through, sorry. |

Uh, Peter Griffin would be pretty simple and recognizable.
Green Pants, White shirt, glasses. Pillow for beer belly. Though you gotta find a way to replicate the chin. It deosnt mttaer waht oredr the ltteers in a wrod are, olny taht the frist and lsat leettr be in the rghit pclae. Tihs is bcuseae the huamn mnid deos not raed ervey lteter by istlef. |

Those things look awsome.
Tf2 character isn't a bad idea but I'd be surprised if any of the peopl there recognised it.
