I recently found out about the Singularity Server and the voluntier programs. My question is what is the big difference between Trinity and Singularity? I no the main details about Trinity and Singularity. But I want to no if I log on to Singularity right now at 2:45pm est what will i see that is different from Trinity? Will space be a different color, will we be able to leave our ships and walk around a station while we are docked, will we be able to fly our ships manually. Does are the things that I and others would like to no. I know it's a test server for everyone already... |

Sisi or Singularity is the test server where CCP allows you to test the latest fixes/nerfs/boosts/etc to the game before it hits TQ (Tranquility). It is a mirror copy of TQ save for POS locations and Moon minerals, and SOV systems. |

Singularity is a test server so it might be running same build as Tranquility or the next patch. So there might be some new stuff depending on what has been added to the patch.

The differences:
1. No POSes on SiSi unless you put them up in SiSi. 2. Moon mineral information is scrambled so you can't scout for good moons. 3. There are stations in SiSi with very large supplies of every market item for 100isk each so you can cheaply fit out nice ships and test them out. 4. SiSi is always running the latest development patch. Sometimes there are noticible content differences, sometimes not.
Other than that, it should be exactly like Tranquility. |

The test server is entirely different than the real server. Nothing you do on the real server will affect the test server, and the same goes the other way. It's a place where you can lose ships and test stuff out and it won't have an impact on what happens in the "real" server.
SiSi also has all ships/modules up for 100 isk per unit at most stations. If you're wondering if that 150m ISK HAC or Command Ship is any good, SiSi is the place to find out.
Sometimes CCP puts experimental ship changes on SiSi so you can test them to see if it works or makes sense, or if it's broken and too powerful. |
