Why half-day downtime often take two hours instead one hour as programmed?
I unsdestand that could be problem, but two hours every day i think are too much.
Thanx

Way to go CCP with the well advertised extra downtime.
Would it have really hurt to actually tell people you needed to have an extra hour today?
Please just tell us (the customers) whats going on then we wouldn't get so frustrated arghh

well if it was cluster problems then how could they if the forums/etc weren't working? Maybe a call to everyone to explain why? :P
'Sorry to wake you Mr Dalmont but EVE isn't working at the moment' :P

For the best? I just came to EVE from E&B and I am not sure which tech support is worse. Everytime I've tried to log in over the past 3 days the server has been offline. So my choices are laggy E&B or a dead server at EVE....
These things take time I can understand, however I get cranky when I pay for a service that is not servicing its customers. Either fix it or call it dead so we can move on.
Sitting in limbo sucks!

They are putting together some major upgrades to their server, the end result will be a much better game without the major lag. Of course there are going to be problems, with such a big upgrade its bound to happen. Just calm down and be patient for a couple days.

hardware upgrades usually never go perfectly. there will be some downtime even after the upgrade and kinks that won't be discovered until after heavy use...etc....
everybody knows you don't pay to get no service or play time.....
think of it as paying to get better improvements to the game....simple, ain't it....it's all perspective....so go be happy. ______________________________________________ Hellmar > sorry for the attitude, playing a n00b character through the current state just left me a bit bitter dev chat: Mar 18, 2004

Chill out people, its as usual upgrade/patch, always trouble at start. They will surely work it out soon, like they always do.
The pity is that again we got no info wahts going on, what can we expect.
Plus the fact they decided again to do the upgrade just before weekend , i tought they were cured from this after first or second patch after release. Its hard to understand why again they do it on friday night, just before weekend peek time...
Stars, stars like dust, all around me.... |
