Err... not quite sure where to post this... probably CAOD, but my CEO doesn't want me posting there.
I've had the worst night that I've ever had in eve...
Fleet op to go save a POS - i started out taking out an astarte because I didn't have any BS fit, and it was short warning. Engaged a hostile fleet at a gate about 2 jumps out from the POS - after about 5 minutes my astarte was primaried and popped (didn't even get a killmail either  )
So after getting podded (i think they dropped a bubble just for me too  ), I grabbed my nano-ishtar and went out to help again. After gathering and preparing to go off to save the POS again, we encountered another fleet. I was attacked, warped out, and came back to help continue trying to kill them. Then the order was given to warp off... and they dropped another bubble just for me - again, killed and podded.
So I was out of ships and bought a scorp and set it up to go get my revenge. After another nice long wait, we found the enemy caps and warped in in preperation for taking them out (the support fleet was elsewhere). Then a ragnorok jumped in and DD us.
So, at the end of the night, I lost an astarte, an ishtar, and a scorpion, and afaik, made it onto 0 killmails, and managed to dump nearly half a mil isk in losses over the course of the night. Well... at least I got my first DD loss... in a fairly disposable ship...

to be honest, I see why your CEO forbade you to post this on CAOD. They're trollsharks (even more dangerous than great whites).
Also, to be even more honest... this would've been better off on a blog than here on the forums... especially this forum - you should start one (a blog, I mean).

That being said - i'm not sad about my losses. However, I think i'm going to be taking a break from pvp for the rest of the night...
Actually... to tell the truth - being DD is a great way to end the night

lol I have yet to be DD'd but I'm sure it was epic in its own right. Click my sig image and check out my blog, as well as some of the other blogs I have linked on the left sidebar.
tbh, I was vehemently against blogs and blogging... til a friend finally talked me into starting this one. I find it to be a very good stress reliever and recounting my experiences in that form actually helps me learn more from them as I progress - try it! You might just surprise yourself... your spelling/grammar and such is readable, so you shouldn't have any problems

That being said - the worst part was I was so lagged out I didn't even get to see the DD Least... I don't think I did. I would have thought it would be this nice, big, pretty light that comes out and everything vanishes. All I saw was this faint reddish stuff almost like a modified bubble

Not sure if you know this or if you really didn't get one but they changed the kill mail system now it's on your 'Character Sheet' in the 'Combat Log' just double click it and it'll display your kill mail.

Yup - I'm aware of that.
Checked the FIX killboard - apparently i did make it onto 3-4 killmails, just didn't do enough damage on any to receive the KM. Btw - is the person who recieves it the one who does the most damage or the one who landed the final blow?
