No no NO.
They cannot do it.
The original Blakes 7 was great, very dark for its time, and had one of the best endings to a TV series ever. If they do make it I shall give it a go but I'd rather they didn't do it. I prefer the memories from my youth.

Ever felt like your been served the same crap over and over again?
Why not make a new sci fi story and series?
you know using modern technology and also adding new ideas??

A documentary on the television i watched also mentioned how they kid had this idea at twelve why looking through old sci fi comics.
Seriously people like Arthur C Clarke dream up the future and inventors build it.
dammit give us more up to date and new age Sci fi.

If Sky make it it is guarenteed to be sh1te. Anything that crappy channel touches turns to poo.
For those Sky fanboi's out there, and I know there are a few; if your idea of tele is 4 mins programme followed by 4 minutes adverts, 6 minutes programme and 4 minutes adverts thereafter for the duration of the programme then you get what you deserve. My only hope is that your tele breaks you morons. Fuking hate Sky, I wish Rupert M dead and his family cursed. I kid you not.

I'm genuinely excited. If they keep it true to the original, only with a bigger budget, better technology, and less rabid censors, it could be full of win.
As long as Sky don't murder it. But I'm told they're having nothing to do with the actual production, and given the fact they're getting their very best viewing figures with imports like Lost, BSG and 24, theres a good chance that they'll leave well enough alone.
