----------------------------------------------------------------------- Engagement with Old Detroit Crime Syndicate -----------------------------------------------------------------------
Bakkah sent out an SOS from Kehour. Apparently he had been harassing Kestrels of the Old Detroit Corp (he killed three of them, impressive). The kestrels were scanning inbound and outbound merchant ships to find cargoes that were worth suicide for. Five of them apparently jumped in, including a pair of caracals. Old Detroit intended on protecting their Kestrels from Bakkah.
Ten minutes later my ship, the TES Divine Covenant jumped in. Bakkah acted as scout, and he found all five of them camping a busy jumppoint on the other side of the system looking for easy pickings. I jumped in and all five of them fled, but not before I stripped the shields from one of the caracals.
Bakkah and I split up, he went to stations and I jumped to another stargate. I met Clarence Bo****er and destroyed his caracal in two rounds of withering tachyon fire. I confiscated his equipment while Bakkah hunted down his pod and murdered him.
I jumped to another gate and found Highway Man in the other caracal. He must have thought that he could out distance me, but I was setup for long range. Highway man's ship died to my tacs and dual heavy beams, and once again Bakkah fast-locked and smoked the fleeing pod.
I would like to commend Bakkah for his exemplary conduct under fire, and for his quick thinking that caught the pirates before they could dock. If not for him the criminals would have escaped the divine justice they rightly deserved.
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Summary: A PIE force consisting of Captain Vorbarra and Ensign Bakkah killed five enemy ships. Two cruisers and three frigates. At least two enemy were podded.
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Screenshot will follow eventually...
For anyone who doesn't know Old Detroit Crime Syndicate are the 'pirates' who were using suicide kestrels to destroy Indy's at gates while their colleague scooped up the loot!
In addition to the above action other ODCS ships were destroyed yesterday by PIE but I have not had reports filed on them yet!

----------------------------------------------------------------------- Location: St. Junep's Cathedral Dam Torsad, Amarr (Current Time) -----------------------------------------------------------------------
Captain Vorbarra was clad in the traditional PIE fleet dress uniform, with one major difference; he wore the white chaplain's collar around his neck. He strode to where the crosses were being constructed, the marines working efficiently and professionally. Over the sounds of the digging, the banging, and the nailing, Ezar opened his well-worn Amarrian bible, and he began to read aloud:
Our Lord visited his flock and saw that all was not good.
A squad of burly marines dragged the two Caldari pirates from Ezar's personal shuttle. Both of them smiled and looked sure of themselves. They knew nothing of Amarrian punishments for piracy and murder. Having met with the Galletean and Caldari justice systems, they expected a long trial, filthy corrupt attorneys, a sympathetic jury, a short sentence in a minimal security prison, and frequent conjugal visits with pretty wenches.
Each criminal slowly developed a look of horror on his face when he saw the crosses lain neatly on the ground and the steel spikes next to them. Both of the convicts began to struggle and beg for their lives. Ezar's continued:
Blasphemy and heresy ruled the land.
The marines bound each of the pirates to their own cross. They did so firmly and quickly, despite the screaming and mad flailing of their captors.
The Lord punished the sinners and drowned them in their own blood.
The marines quickly pounded iron spikes into the wrists and ankles of the condemned. Blood poured openly from the wounds, flowing all over the rope bindings and the hard earth beneath them. The screams of pain and agony were almost too much to bear.
But the people of Amarr lived righteously and in fear of God.
A plaque was nailed to each of the crosses, over the head of each criminal. Each plaque had one word engraved on it: "PIRATA". Both crosses were raised and planted in one swift movement. The marines had done their job.
Thus they were saved and became God's chosen one.
The Scriptures. Book II.
All present looked up after somber "Amen". The pirates were breathing quick labored breaths, so evident was their pain.
Such is the fate of those who murder innocents in Imperial space.

Nice work Hardin & Pie Corp.
But I feel that they will be back to harass even more people at those gates again very soon & this effort needs to be continued by a lot more people.

I deliberatly posted it in General Discussions as I do not think the 'Old Detroit Crime Syndicate' are typical roleplayers and are therefore unlikely to read the Intergalactic Summit. The fact that these 'pirates' were killing everybody (roleplayers or not) also means its of interest to the wider EVE community.
PIE is a roleplay corporation therefore we need some justification for our actions and that was that these pirates were harming the Amarr economy by killing traders at the Amarr gate in Yulai - a mere single jump from our glorious home system. This could not be accepted...
If these pirates were to move to Minmatar space, where they would predominantly killing Minmatar pilots, we would have no gripe with them... (afterall we are Guardians of the Amarr Empire and not the Minmatar Republic - yet )
It would then be interesting to see if the Minmatar community could do something about the problem. Especially as they do noy seem to be able to police Atlar - just a few jumps from Pator...
Another reason why the Minmatars should just accept Amarr superiority and the leadership of our beloved Emperor

I wonder if that is an insult to Zombies or actually boosting the ego of Old Detroit? Kind of class difference in quality between those two isnt it?

Good work PIE, as painfull as it is for a True Minmatar to compliment a racist slavedriving pice of scum... well before I go too far, good work and I hope you have even more luck in driving the old detroit crime syndicate into the ground.
Out of two evils you certainly are the lesser one.

Does this remind you of Sarum Prime in the old days?

Actually I have to give some credit to the Minmatar terrorists for NOT interfering in these combat operations. They could have easily played "spoiler" but they chose not to. On the whole most of our declared enemies have honour and integrity.
I am satisfied that these criminals were unable to rob and murder helpless traders on one of the busiest days (traffic wise) of the week.
