Eye of the Storm are currently recruiting a select few pod pilots to bolster it's ranks.
Recruiting is difficult in the current Eve climate, for employer an employee alike. However, we are looking for a very specific type of pilot. So to alleviate unnecessary reading, I will detail what we are NOT. We are not a large corp at present, we are not even a medium corp. We are not living in 0.0, not do we have immediate plans to do so. We are not taking on trial players or 1 month old characters. We do not like carebears!
OK, if you are still here, then you probably want to know what we ARE :) Well that would be a small, elite group of terrorists. We reside in Lonetrek and surrounding regions and we only PvP. This normally manifests itself in the form of War Dec's on corporations much larger than ourselves. During our recent war, the fleets that came to engage us were up to 5x the size of our own. Do we undock in the face of such numbers? Yeah, if we think superior tactics can allow us to claim a victory. We also undertake small private mercenary contracts and are allied with several dedicated PvP corporations of significant numbers.
So who are we looking for, pilot wise?
- A minimum of 8mil SP(exceptions may be made if backed up with good reason)
- Must be PvP only. No mission runners, miners etc
- Must be self sufficient. Fly only what you can afford to lose
- Ideally EU based. We have no members outside the EU time zone so you might be lonely at times if not.
- Mature, but with a good, broad sense of humour ;)
- Abide by our No Smack Policy at all times! <--- That is important!
- Be prepared to fight when online, sometimes in the face of insurmountable odds
Does that sound like you? If so, keep reading. We do take alts, but only if they meet the requirements and we will require details of your other characters etc.
So what can E-O-S offer you then?
- PvP in Empire! We aim to have targets 24/7
- Dedication. When we are logged on, its not to chat or mine etc, it's to relentlessly hunt our marks
- Reality Checks! Most of us are married etc with kids, so we understand that RL comes first
- Knowledge. We know this game. We have played all types of characters since 2003, in large 0.0 Alliances and small corps alike.
- Fun! We may well turn up drunk on a Friday night and decide to have a roaming drunken frig fleet
- Community. We have regular news items written by members and dedicated Forums
- Vent/TS access. We have our own server to co-ordinate those drunken fights!
So that's Eye Of The Strom. We admit, we wont be right for the vast majority of players, but if you fit in with us, we promise your time in Eve will be great fun.

Two new skilled members in as many days! Welcome guys.
We are still looking for a few more pilots interested in Empire small gang warfare. Maybe you are an experienced 0.0 FC tired of chaotic combat comms and fancy flying with a smaller group of well disciplined pilots? Or maybe you are a mission runner with good skills looking to move into PvP more seriously and fly under an experienced FC for guidance?
