so local starts to rise and i go 2 late shoot the guy and gtfo.
dude starts a convo whineing about his isk. iam like bzzy **** off.
so after the fight i look at my wallet +16mil 
but my mate lost his ship :( so i am thinking we got screwed over by him. and anyway he was 2 late.
quick thinking, honor for the nub or new ship for my mate? thats easy

if he paid u the ransom before u said times up, then pay him back imo
but if he waited till it was certain doom then changed his mind tuff cookies

Well to 'e fair with ye split the isk. 'e was too late but he did pay and 'e should learn from it, Arr!. give him 8 mil of doubloons back and give the other 8 mil of treasure to yer matey Arr!

Keep the ISK if he's too late to pay. It doesn't take 30 seconds to pay a ransom, unless he was laggy. Sounds like he just barely missed paying though...
Yeah, keep the ISK.
Then drink your rum and sh** on his chest.
