Earlier today 2004.04.25 22:00'ish I was invited into a chat with two other Curse Alliance members. Unfortunately I didn't remember to save the log file. But the reason for the convo was that they wanted to know why I attacked a CA and a SHINPAC station. My reply was simple and nodiscriminant. I was bored. What wasn't conveyed is that I alone and out of boredom took over two stations in less than a day's time.
What I love is that they wondered why and did not expect me to say boredom. Fed up they left one by one and told me that I was KOS. WooHoo.
Sorry I forgot to save the log otherwise this would have been an even more interesting post but I do have the mails to confirm the successful overtaking of two stations and will post below.

Your conversations are all logged on your computer at C:\Program Files\CCP\EVE\capture\Chatlogs
So if you wanted to post it you could easily, if it really happened....

naw kerry. They are on in that folder if you right click while in chat on the tag and select capture chatlog. Thats why they are in the "capture" folder. its for screenshots, captured chatlogs, and captured portraits

WRONG.
Like 1/10th of my convos get autocaptured apparently, I manually capture the rest since it seems Eve never logs anything that actually matters

hmmm I have 1 year old convo's in there. Also every convo since. Every convo of every chat room I go in, wether anyone says anything or not.

um, i think the confusion is there's a blanket "log everything" option; go see if it's on or not? If it's not, it (supposedly, in theory, etc) will only dump what you ask it to. If it is on, well, intermittent performance in logging is not exactly a shock to anyone is it?
