Did he order you on forums to ask this question as he did to rig the election?
Please stay on topic in this thread. A valid question about Jade's campaign has been asked in this thread and yet you bring other candidates into Jade's thread. Clearly the appropriate place to ask questions of Darius would be in his thread.

Jade, congratulation on the results of the election. I'd like to let you know that me and majority of my fellow EVE players have cast votes in your favour.
I would ask you once again to stay on topic in this thread.
Jade Constantine, why was your first action as CSM Chairperson to welcome HALF of the other CSM representatives and say you looked forward to working with them? Did you intend to factionalize the CSM from the very beginning or was that an unintended consequence of your badly thought out actions? For the CSM candidates to work effectively it is required that the Chair work to create cohesion within the council so progress can be made on a variety of topics. Given your already divisive actions how can you claim that you will be an effective Chair?

Originally by: Tecam Hund I don't know why should Jade put his Chairman position to vote when he was selected chairman by the voters. This is of course his decision to make, but I didn't vote for Jade so he could then let someone I didn't vote for decide if he should stay a Chairman.
I suggest you Goons quit your petty lamentations, and let your representatives work on getting the council functional instead with the choices you are given.
Jade stated himself that he would put the Chair position up for a vote within the CSM if he was elected to the Chair. This alone should mean that he does so. A liar does not make a good CSM Chair. It is Jade's right (and I woulda argue moral duty) to stand down as stated in the CSM.pdf:
"If the Chairman decides to step down or rescind his responsibility during this time for any reason, a vote must be held among Representatives to replace him." [In this quote 'this time' refers to the time during the election of the Vice Chair etc.]

And yep, the goons are certainly free to send their issues to either of their reps on the council. I'm sure those guys will be happy to answer specific goonie complaints as well. Speaking personally I've got absolutely no interest answering goonie concerns or questions at this point in the process.
Quite the balanced viewpoint you have there Jade.

Lucky I wasn't standing for election on "balanced neutrality" then wasn't it
You are correct, you did not mention neutrality as part of your campaign. Unfortunately you did mention that you would step down as Chair if you were elected, a stance which you have failed to follow through on.
And you've also failed to address valid questions in this thread. You're a lame duck Chair with an axe to grind and everyone can see it now.

Originally by: Darius JOHNSON You will see me exactly when and where my responsibilities take me. Our meeting is Saturday. There is no such thing as an "informal" CSM meeting, much like there is no such thing as selective representation. I'd recommend you re-read the charter documents regarding the council you chair. You don't seem to get it.
And I quote:
Quote: Selecting a Chairman will be straightforward matter; the Representative with the highest vote tally will automatically become the Chairman and is responsible for the internal council vote of a Vice-Chairman, Secretary and Vice-Secretary. Should the positions not be filled within three days an appointment authority is granted to the Chairman to fill the positions. Should the Chairman step down as such or as a Representative, a vote is to be held to appoint a new Chairman.
If you don't choose to attend I'll call the first in line alternative CSM member to vote in your place Darius. Everything is cool and above board. All the best.
You do not have the power to require Darius to attend an arbitrary meeting at your convenience or forfeit his vote. Nowhere is that stated as your authority, a vague statement that is your responsibility to perform the vote doesn't give you ultimate power. A simple discussion (with or without Darius) followed by a 24 hour voting period (in a thread or similar) would be the easiest method for electing positions.
Clearly the smallest amount of power has gone to your spiky platinum blond head.

The problem is that CCP are completely inept when it comes to writing clear documentation. The CSM.pdf contains 13 pages of roleplay/metagame waffle that no one is going to read and is no consequence and then each step of the process (where the technical details should be) is covered in a simplistic short paragraph without even a comment about where clarifications should be sought.

Originally by: Darius JOHNSON You cannot call anyone into place to vote in my stead, as I have not chosen to not attend an official meeting of the CSM. You've made a thread for the voting and that is where the voting will take place. Publicly, where a council vote should take place.
Cool if you do now want to vote then thats excellent. Little less amateur dramatics would be nice next time though.
Darius is the one with the amateur dramatics? If you'll look back a page you'll clearly see someone with a name and avatar very similar to yours threatening Darius with losing his votes in the Vice etc. voting if he doesn't show up for an INFORMAL CSM meeting that you have unilaterally decided to hold at almost zero notice DESPITE not having the authority to do so.
What you fail to understand is that not everyone who ran for CSM is a self-employed 39 year old software programmer with nothing going on his life other than roleplaying as a female sex slave in an spaceship MMORPG. Not every one of your collegues has time to write page after page of bad fake medieval fiction.
If anyone here is guilty of dramatics (amateur or otherwise) it is you.

I will be entirely impartial in the role of chairman on all procedural matters and issues of fairness. Time will demonstrate this I expect.
You have already demonstrated a divisive and destructive stance as Chair and we are only days into the process. Your very first action was to thank and welcome your particular croneys to the CSM and ignore any of the Reps who has had an independant thought. Your second action was to reverse your previous statement about resigned as Chair and putting it up for a vote. Your third action was to attempt to bully a CSM member into showing up for an "informal" meeting at almost no notice, you even threatened him with disenfranchisement.
And throughout it all you've failed to respond to any post full of valid complaints about your conduct.
Well done Jade, you have personally done more to destroy the CSM process than any large alliance could dream of.
I fully expect that you will ignore this post or quote it and then write 500 words that don't actually say anything and it's mainly been written for OTHERS to read.
Hope this helps.
