Hidey ho! I've finally gotten around to organizing my fourth bond offering. Details inside.
TERMS
Total Bond Size: 3 Billion ISK
Rate: 8 percent
Bonds: 100 million ISK each (no min/max purchase)
Collateral: None
Audit: No
Start Date: March 3, 2012 (planned)
End Date: March 10, 2012 (planned)
PLANS
My basic station-trading/light hauling strategy has scaled relatively well and will continue to be the cornerstone of my operations for this bond. While I have begun research and dabbling in other techniques they will not constitute an appreciable portion of my activities during the course of my present offering.
RISK
As you all know and I have always said, by and far the biggest risk is that I plan on taking the money never to return it. There is nothing I can do to convince you otherwise and you know what position you are in to take a leap of faith better than I do. I will, though, point to my previous offerings and hopefully that will provide some small level of comfort:

SLIGHTLY RELATED NOTE
Per suggestions from a few helpful clients I have put together an experimental mailing list (Forge Investment Services) to try and expedite and keep orderly my bonds. If you would like early notice of offerings and the chance to procure a stake prior to the forum announcement feel free to join.

He's actually one of two (three now with the anonymous investor though I see why that one doesn't "count"). What you want to take from that is up to you, infer to your heart's content.

Your questions are all answered in my initial post with the exception of the part about the API key. The short answer is no, I won't be distributing a key. The longer answer is that were it ever to prove essential to the success or failure of an offering I would probably make my key available to a trusted auditor. This has not yet been the case and I'm thankful to not have had to go through the trouble.
EDIT: Sorry, to clarify the purpose of the mailing list, it is for giving previous/interested investors an early notice of offerings (prior to their posting on the forum). It's new and experimental and at this time I have no intention to use it for any function aside from this.
Also, 700 million reserved.

Per the ingame conversation I had with wowjemd, his investment has been increased to the last 100 million (to 800 million total) and the ISK has been received by me. The bond is now full. Thank you everyone for your business. |

The end date for the bond is March 10, this Saturday (provided we are in similar time zones). I plan on returning principle and interest to investors either that morning or, perhaps, Friday night (the 9th). |

For fear that I will be too hungover come morning to wrap this all up nicely I have just closed the bond slightly early and sent everybody their payments. Things went well and I'd like to thank those that popped in from time to time with advice or to just see how it is going. Spring break started for me today so I think I'll be too busy with RL excursions to be running another bond but perhaps the week after that. I plan on experimenting with some different trading techniques/activities soon so I might put off the next bond until I'm settled into a routine. I'll just have to see how things go. For those interested in keeping track don't forget that I'm testing out a mailing list (the info in in my initial post).
Anyway, fly safe. |
