Well, ill take some of your hands for 800k each if no one else bids higher or you have some left. I personally would like 3 or 4 but i know a few other people that could do with 1 or 2 themselves

1.25mil is quite steep for harvies.
I'll give you 7 million for all 8.
That's 850,000 each.
I'll try and keep an eye on this thread, or you can convo me in game. I'm usually online after 17:00 eve-time.

I've been offered 1m each for 3-4 in-game.
Yes, I realise 1.25m is a lot, but that was because I saw someone sell a few here for 1.3m. Well, I did say "or best offer"

Where do you find harvesters? do they drop as loot?
What do you have to kill to get a hold of them?

Usually dropped from when you kill NPC transport convoys...
But be warned, killing them is not always a safe move to do, have to be very carful

As far as I know, they used to drop from NPC Convoys, but are no longer available at all, hence the rising prices.
I have had these since September, and they've seen action in Syndicate, Outer Ring and Curse. I'm selling them 'cos I practically never mine anymore.

For ****s and giggles I placed my two (2) remaining Harvesters on escrow for five (5) million ISK about a week ago. Took a few days, but they were indeed sold. 
Obviously 1.25 isn't all that steep.
I'm a bit sorry I have lost as many as I have to various unexpected NPC pirates and whatnot...

The only thing you can do is buy them from someone that has them.
They used to be a drop from NPC convoys, but CCP nerfed that and now harvesters drop extremely rarely or not at all.
Unconfirmed rumor: Occasionally one will drop off of NPCs in Geminate. As I said, unconfirmed and may likely be false.
Confirmed: It was possible, at least briefly, to get an occasional harv from agents after Castor. They may likely have been removed from the agent drop tables again though. But in a few hundred L3 missions, I received only ONE harvester drone shortly after Castor was released (when the loot tables were known to be excessively generous, people were receiving cruiser BPOs), but none in the past few months.
