With the downfall of MC and Goonies flying around in nothing but T1 SH!T because they have overstreached there supply lines, i was wondering who is next on the GBC's list of Fudgers to muck with..... Here is my top 5:
1. IAC, 2. Goons (cause they loved to be Fudged with), 3. Red Alliance, 4. Goons (cause they fly T1 SH!T), 5. BRUCE.
So Sir Molle(or anyone in the know) which one is it ? (Dont Stress about "dropping the ball" as who ever it might be wont be able to stand up to the onslaught of the GBC)
(i hope its Goons) nullThere will be a day where everyone is loved.....well everyone but you that is ! |

My prediction is Paragon Soul and Esoteria. Basically the next really big road block is -A-, and both sides will probably fight tooth and nail for Impass and whatever bits of catch -A- have at the time. But first they will want to clear out the mess in southern regions before making an assault.
It will also provide a bit of a buffer and bridge head area, though I doubt they'd develop it in the same way as the "home regions". They'll only rent it out once they have taken Impass, so that pets/renters aren't front line.
UNL and TCF's home regions aren't Esoteria and it is questionable whether the coalition will come help black-out. If goons are overstretched as the op suggests, then they are going to be looking to shorten their own lines for possible invasion of Impass
I don't think Bob will opportunistically take stations in western Catch or certainly not deep because they don't want to directly be buffering -A- yet. An IAC kept weak by -A- can be attacked at any time and rolled over

As for the "onslaught of the GBC", what are you smoking (again)? Taking a station from IAC who have had major internal dificulties and under attack from AAA, and then another from failure cascading MC hardly makes an "onslaught". Fun but not an onslaught.

The way i see it they will clean house in there old area's and putting back up all the isk makers that they had in those regions. I was a good lesson for bob that spreading themselfs out so far was no fun cand caused to much trouble. As for -A- i don't think they will be bothered in there area and for Bruce i have no clue maybe the return of a few of there stations might be in order. But otherwise the way i see it RA in one corner and BOB in another so there is equal power on both sides of the map.

I think after they clean up PB they'll move on Fountain, after that maybe take 25s, FAT-, 5-n2, v2- and then the AAA stations in Catch
Might try to secure a supercap route through Providence at about same time as they start fighting AAA for real, but then they'll have to deal with everyone who shows up to help AAA in addition to CVA's providence forces
Possibly seeing a renewed attack on Fountain by whatever's left of the north at that point.

After that, AAA may take up to a three weeks of pounding to failure cascade. TCF/blackout will also take about two weeks in paragon soul and feyth.
All in all, the map should the bluest it's ever been in two months, with all serious threats dispatched.
I doubt RA would do anything given how they're already practically disbanding.

Seems geographically logical anyways, will be quite interesting to see if goons get their **** together during that timeperiod..
So basically first mop up Tortuga, then Bruce, then 4 IAC stations, then some small-scale providence action with CVA and co, then AAA Then northerners invade Fountain and BoB split their have to decide how to respond fighting on two far apart fronts.
Get out of my mind. That's the way I'd call it, tbh.
Buffer zone all-round, go where the fights are, no pets so can't overstrech too much. Not sure about the northeners tho. My guess is that they'll deliberately stretch one front and show apparent weakness to invite some fights. Maybe the southern front to fight RSF.

they have shown that 25 vs gbc they can win. what makes anyone thing that 2 or 3 of anyone vs gbc they have a chance.

It's funny, about every 3 or 4 months a thread pops up on COAD about how IAC are the next to get bbq'd in the south. This has been happening since IAC was first conceived. The only time IAC was in peril (that I can recall) was with ISS & friends having 700+ in F4R almost a year ago.
Besides, what would EvE do without our awesome pubs. ---------------------------------------------

And what alliance did you reside in? ISS? RISE? KoS?
No one left to save an alliance? So does that mean that IAC will the be effective last alliance standing because, according to your statement, no one will be left to save IAC, implies that there would be no other alliances holding territory.
Thanks for the compliment.
Also, AAA, GOONS, RA, and Tau Ceti were just some of the alliances to come to the aid of IAC. So, according to you, no one will be left to save IAC AAA, GOONS,RA, and Tau Ceti would have to be destroyed before IAC would fall.
Surely you have a main? Tried posting on him yet? If you aren't in an alliance, you shouldn't be allowed to post on COAD. Other wise your just another alt spouting mindless dribble. ---------------------------------------------

tbh it was AAA who stop a massive amount of ships for the onslaught on bob just by refusing to set standings. they shot a lot northern forces aswell as southern "weaker" forces and even removed brotherhood of steel as bufferzone even before bob could really turn on them.
i mean tbh, if kos *just to name one people would recognise* with gangs of 30+ bs + random other stuff wouldnt have been slaughtered on the way over and over again it would have been a bigger help than 30 goons in noobships and if they just had camped a random gate on a random supply line *even because most empire supply lines werent even camped by coalition allowing bob and most friendly bob forces just to move new ships in even without manufacturing in place*
also its stated in other threads *will have a look for it* that getting shot by blue *exspecial AAA* have driven other forces out of the conflict before *rule of three just as an example*
the "coalition" was mostly a train to jump on to get space for the most. now they got what they want they leave the rest to others *waves at united legion*.... while people who where serious got driven out by greedy and ignorant other parts of the coalition. their egos got them down.... now they get picked of 1 by 1.
and...
cva aiding to help AAA or otherway arround... well i am not sure about it *reminds something with a takedown of a pirating AAA aeon by cva forces.... but oh well*.
also i would say they would rather make a route through paragon soul to AAA than through providence. just for the fact that a secured period basis would make a good jump point and a secured paragon soul *with new residents* even would make a good buffer and a savejumpzone for bob.

I wasn't saying CVA would help AAA, obviously they wouldn't ever even consider doing so.
RA, UNL, goons, possibly SE, would show up to help AAA if asked, they also have some citizen alliances that'd show up in small numbers if AAA wanted them to. I don't know about IAC and TCF, but it's certainly possible they'd help AAA against GBC as well, depends entirely on Hachou's whims.
I don't think supercaps can realistically go from Delve to Catch any way except through Providence, both AAA and BoB have run into serious problems due to this since CVA like to cyno jam every single system there and do a pretty good job of defending them too.
I used to have to go and ask Aralis really nicely to let Thug move his titan through "to help IAC" ;P (haha)

You can't move titans or motherships from Delve to HED-GP without going through Providence, also I don't believe you have a char in BoB

Shouldn't you be stupidly losing something valuable somewhere?
Deal with providence isn't as hard as make it out to be, BTW.

Sorry I just lose lots and lots of cheap rapiers now, much like TWD in fact !
You're an idiot tho if you think dealing with CVA's providence blob in addition to "coalition" forces is not a serious undertaking, especially if northerners strike at BoB holdings many regions away simultaneously..
Oh I'm sure GBC can incap any cyno jammer in the game right now and remove sov 3 so they can pass through.. But they can only be so many places at once, and doing Providence at the same time as Catch/Impass and Fountain could be tricky, and keeping their POSes alive in Providence while engaging in all-out warfare elsewhere is unlikely.

Originally by: Sulora It's funny, about every 3 or 4 months a thread pops up on COAD about how IAC are the next to get bbq'd in the south. This has been happening since IAC was first conceived. The only time IAC was in peril (that I can recall) was with ISS & friends having 700+ in F4R almost a year ago.
Besides, what would EvE do without our awesome pubs.
We're just that good.
I totally expect BOB to take some action against us, like they have in the past. My memory is a little vague, But I'm pretty sure we stopped the ISS/BOB push in F4R last year [i]alone[/i. (I recall some CVA help, props to you guys!)
Why BOB would want to attack us and just end up defending stations they wouldn't use is beyond me. Not like we're the most offensive alliance in the game.

We didn't really stop the push so much as MC/BoB lost interest and ISS were obviously completely inept and the ones handling the POS part of the "offensive". Also both RA and AAA showed up for some of the engagements in massive battleship fleets, our weak dread participation meant their BS were actually doing more dps to some of the POSes than our dreads were ;O
But yes we did repulse ISS/BOB in F4R/ZXIC, was right after that that I (slightly burned out) went on break for a few months I didn't feel I'd left anyone in the lurch since we weren't under attack anymore and only thing left to do was rebuild and wait for Coalition backup to retake our stations, but some people claim I ran away and abandoned IAC after bankrupting them and when morale was low.. Anyways while I was on break IAC rebuilt and reclaimed our former stations in Catch and finally took 49-u under the able leadership of VileLust/HumbleThC with Isayo Arkindra as their puppet figurehead and massive TCF/Goon backup obviously.
