Would you still get the daily research points and eve-mails about blueprints, or do you have to go and cancel the missions to get those?

well now then....
SUPPOSEDLY (cough cough large pinch of salt) if you do not take up the dialy rd mission the rd agent will stop sending you the evemails.
you should still get your dialy RPS and you should (cough cough Ahem AHem) get a BPO offer evemail.
this is whats been suggested on the forums...with the lack of any offical responce..its the best your going to get.
i understand evemails from rd agents last for a week. so it might be an idea to pop yer head thru the rd agents door once a week.
be nice to get an official once and for all anser...but then people have been wanting that about many questions from the day eve started. no reason why things sould change now.
you chould always send an email to [email protected] but then seem to be over whelemed with people *****ing about the fact the servers have been offline half the weekend with no apparant benifit to anyone. how very very rude of people.
oh and if your email dosnt get lost in the vast swaves of other emails...theres always the email monster who might eat it.
sorry i cant be of any help.... but if you plan on the playing the game long term you better get used to it (the lack of help that is)

Edited by: Astrid Tron on 26/04/2004 13:52:41 You still get the RP/day even if you dont do the daily mission. They are just an opportunity to get double the RP/day, not a must-do.
You do not have to go cancel them either. I just ignored it, and got at T2 BP a few days ago. (Evemail -> go to agent -> accept BP)
(dont listen to that other guy - I been here almost a year, and usually get great and timely service) --------------------------------------------- When you have to kill a man, it takes nothing to be polite |

Oi.......
why the need to repeat what i said and then go on to dig me about my comments ? u giant knob.
you may wanna easy up on the posting of data as if its accepted fact. even CCP tread gingerly around topics as such and wait for the confirmed word of a DEV before fully comminting.
if a dev has posted on this topic..then share the link...otherwise keep stum or at the very least make it apparent its YOUR view and may not be correct. (my word you dont strike me as the sort of person who is ever incorrect...god forbid no)
great and timley service ? obviosuly your puckkering up on the forums gets you preferd treatment.
as much as i try to puckker up.....my lips just cant form the correct puckkery puckker shape.
if the service is so effiecent and great and timely....why are we ansering Kozaks questions and not CPP ?
mabye Kozak has not banked enuf pukkerage RPS as of yet. can he borrow some of yours ? as i hear you puckkerage account is over-floweth.

Papa once answered this question for me, and I'm sure I have an IRC log of it, but Rancid Mare makes me not want to post it

Sometimes its best to be shown as an example.
We want the Papa Smurf Papers!!!
Now that would be a cool bonus. You do a mission and get neat little info bites about upcoming changes to agents and the world of eve. You know those agents can talk too much if you can persuade them (cough) negotiation 5..... --------------------------

From what I have experienced on Entropy/Chaos, yes you still get rp's if you ignore the daily missions, and yes, you still get bp offer emails.

I still get RP and I've done a total of 3 research agent missions in the past couple of months...

Let me confirm:
Even if you stop doing missions for your agents, you WILL still get BP's offered to you. I got one recently from an agent I hadn't worked for in weeks. His daily e-mails stopped, and I feared that he forgot about me until he offered me a BP.
The agent that I work for every day has yet to offer me anything.
So there you go.

Good, I was getting really tired for running to 5 different agents everyday to do their stupid missions.

According to an information source (that I am not allowed to quote for certain reasons): *if you IGNORE the research agent regarding missions then you will get one third of the RP/day, *talking to the agent and refusing the mission you should get normal RP/day (research agents do not adjust your faction standings EVER), *doing the missions you get a bonus amount of RP (it has not been stated officially that all research missions were created equal; ie there MAY be a variance in the mission RP bonus value based on difficulty or estimated cost of mission, but there is no proof either way)
