As is now commonly known, members of the BLOOD EMPIRE alliance on Sunday hosted what they termed a set of gladiatorial games. These games were, according to their organiser, inspired by ancient Sani Sabik contests and designed to bring glory to that way of thinking.
Furthermore, a collection of "VIP Guests" were invited to view the contest and to take part in Sani Sabik rituals.
Many of those on the particpant and guest lists were already well-known to us, and included some of the most notorious apostates, terrorists, thieves, pirates and anarchists in the cluster. But other names were new to us.
Like all decent-minded people, we at PIE abhor the Sani Sabik and their practises. It was with this in mind that I sent messages to some of the particpants and guests asking them to reconsider their decisions. I explained that supporting the Sani Sabik in this matter would be little better than being a Sani Sabik.
Some of the recipients of these messages later signalled to me their intention to withdraw and subsequently did so. I thank each and every one of you.
Of course there were others who told me in no uncertain terms that they were going. I consider that to be the wrong choice, but it was their decision to make. It will of course have certain consequences which I shall come to later.
Another group claimed to be unaware of the precise nature of the gathering, but it seems that they went ahead with particpated in it even when passed further background information. Likewise, their actions will have consequences.
There was a fourth group who claimed that it was perfectly acceptable for them to attend, as they had a record of being loyal Amarrians. To these people I say this - being an good Amarrian is not a part time job. Would it be acceptable for someone to claim that they were law-abiding citizens on the grounds that they'd only gone on a single spree of illegal activity without being appropriately punished? Of course not! And so it is with you. You should be ashamed of yourselves.

And now, on to those consequences mentioned earlier. We have looked at the personal, corporation and alliance standings of those pilots attending, and subtracted four from the lowest for the "VIP Guests", and six from the lowest for the competitors (subject to the minus ten limit, of course). The result is the new personal standing towards the individual. Note therefore, that the standing will follow that person around and we urge recruiters to take this into account.
This leaves us with the following resultant standings:
Vlad Cetes -6 Lord Redemption -6 Nidia Masters -10 fallen Merovigean -10 StonyVision -10 Extreme Dios -6 Outllaw Jenner -10 Tigerfish Torpedo -10 Heliocon -10 Takako Chigusa -6 ShadowDragon -6 Qing Jou -6 Jay Marshall -6 Jin'kou -6 Lyn Sienn -6 Jade Constantine -10 Astarte Nosferatu -10 Cyshade -10 D'ceet -4 Karn Mithralia -10 Goumindong -5 Xavier Fate -10 Pharuan -10 LaVista Vista -4 Verone -10 Tassi -4 Istvaan Shogaatsu -10 Jekaterine -10 Dierdra Vaal -4 The Cosmopolite -10 Leandro Salazar -4 Tyrrax Thorrk -8 Stavros -10 NoobJuice -10 3ll3 -4 Unheard Demon -10 Yusra -4 Serenity Steele -4 Ankhesentapemkah -4
We were planning on also altering our standings towards those corporations and alliances who had members attending. However, after due consideration, we have decided to suspend these changes, pending good behaviour from those groups. Should these groups demonstrate immoral behaviour again in the future, we will adjust our standings towards them based upon both incidents.
There is one exception to this, however. Two months ago an Eve University member used some very anti-Amarrian language, glorifying violence against us. After an exchange of messages, we decided to not alter our standings towards that corporation. When looked at together the two incidents point to a disturbing trend, and we are therefore left with little choice but to alter our standings towards Eve University to minus two.
All of these standings changes will be enacted within the next forty-eight hours. Note that the list of attendees has been compiled from a variety of sometimes contradictory sources, and so may contain inaccuracies. As such, the list is provisional. If you feel that your name has been listed in error, please contact me privately to rectify the situation. Likewise, if anyone knows the identity of a competitor or "VIP Guest" that does not appear on the list, please let me know.
Should any of the Sani Sabik sympathisers listed above wish to have their personal standings reset, they may contact either myself or one of my fellow directors (through either Evemail or the PIE Public channel) if their standing is minus six or better and they will be given an opportunity to demonstrate their moral integrity.

Out of interest, will you be granting positive standings to Stimulus for actually turning up to disrupt proceedings whilst you did nothing?

I'm trying to figure out if you're talking to me or to Master Blake. You reference Guardians of Truth, the paramilitary I serve...but you also reference a fearsome letter-writing campaign, of which CVA has been no part.

Yes the Golden Fleet did assemble to dispense justice. It then went to Heimatar to engage targets of actual importance.

Not true. Observe:
Originally by: "CONCORD record for CVA" An alliance founded late in the reign of the Emperor Heideran as a meeting point for Amarrian Corps interested in the defence of the Holy Amarr Empire from the incursions of terrorists and pirates. If you are interested in joining our cause please evemail one of the ceo's prior to application. Amarr Victor. May God grant Emperor Doriam II peace.
Originally by: "CONCORD record for PIE" Defenders of the Faith, Guardians of the Truth.
PIE pilots serve the Amarr Empire to uphold the Holy traditions and ensure the prosperity of the Empire. We are not currently accepting new corporations into the alliance.
While I have no doubt that pilots of CVA have made any number of claims about themselves and their alliance, it seems clear than only PIE has actually filed the necessary forms appointing themselves Guardians of the Truth.

While I myself and none of the members of the Imperative participated in this event, I have to say Mr. Blake that perhaps you are being a bit shortsighted?
Would you have set the same standings to an organisation who participated to gather intelligence on the Sani Sabik? Possibly an individual or organization who was simply studying the Sani Sabik?
Honestly Sir, you could possibly be compromising and killing people who might even be working for your interests inadvertantly.
Just a though, but one I felt compelled to share.

Now that I've run the name through a translator for ancient Amarrian, I see your point ... except that given the circumstances of CVA's founding, I could argue that it was, in fact, PIE that appointed you that title. But never mind that, I'll concede that both PIE and CVA claim to be Guardians of the Truth, all reality aside.

It is not my pleasure to enter a PIE transmission but as it is directed to an event that I hosted, I found it of good etiquette to give my respects in form of words.
As I can see by the general feelings here:
1- My guests demands -10 and if you really want to make your point more then a few words here I'd grant them that. You also miss a hell of a lot we had over 70 people interacting with Sani Sabik event during the lenght of 6 hours of rituals. I suggest your intel to work on the matter as to give all heretics their propper placement inside the " Guardian's of truth " justice.
* Revan stops for a moment containing a laugh, recomposes herself and continues *
2- I believe that the corporation of ex-SF free captains deserves their - 10 as well. Not only they contributed with their time and effort to join us at the games but also they were part of the rituals as well when the blood of the Sovereign opened the games as it was since the first games related at the Apocrypha. Give them the propper place into your list.
3- I've heard that I was set -9.999999999999... as the infinite last .1 required was left for divine judgement.
4- As you find me in very good spirits today I'm to communicate here that another ritual will set place now after 7 days of the game.
The corpse of PIE Lieutanant killed during the Sani Sanik rituals will be brought to the main Bloodveil Temple for the cerimonies of purging "The blood of unholies" as it states the holy apocrypha. I'm however inclined to give back the body of said pilot to PIE after the rituals so you can proceed to deliverim him to God under your terms.
With no more, may one say even the infidels of PIE blinded by the corruption of Pax Amarr find in their souls the true Amarrian spirit of ancestry, conquest, wars and reclaiming as expressed by the Holy Apocrypha.
So mote it be.
