I did try this one a while back, but couldn't get on with the user interface at all.
The game community was the most hostile and mercenary I've ever come across.. and I've played Anarchy Online, so I know what I'm talking about there.
Whilst the graphics are brilliant, if a little dull, the promised "Jam Tomorrow" expansion is still no closer to being released and the in-game professions and skilling up are painfully slow and even more boring than mining in EVE.
Unlike GTA and it's like, the cops here are pretty much on the ball and don't go for donuts and coffee the instant you drive into a spray shop, and my attempt to have a go at the thieving missions ended with my account being suspended for several months and a huge fine that wiped out most of my in-game currency.
I've repeatedly tried to cancel my subscription, but can't find the icon to do this... I've a sneaking suspicion that SOE have taken over the running of the cluster at some point.
Whilst the game engine is second to none, the lousy application and repetitive gameplay are a real bind after a while, althought the mind numbing minutae of trading on what passes for a market might appeal to more mathematically oriented players.
In short, I can think of any number if MMORPGs I'd rather spend my time on than this one.
Give it a miss guys, 3/10.

I'm currently considering suing the company that came up with this one tbh I've been an active player for 39 years now through good and bad.
Not only have I been hit with the Credit Crunch bug but now I find I've been hit with the redundancy bug aswell the fix for the later leads to a drastic decrease in my in game currency earnings, which leads to an increased reaction of the aforementioned credit crunch bug.
All in all I give this one -5/10 IT REALLY REALLY SUCKS.

There's too many chinaman farmers driving the price of in-game money up. I tried griefing in the newbie zone for kicks but GMs hauled me away for blocking the doors out of the starting zone.
