Well, there was this one time, I actually was flying in a +5 clone to pvp, especially to 0.0, in a dual basi supporting HED-GP campaign with my alt, for about a month and half. Did lose a basi once I think. Then there were times I fly tackle ships in between those campaign, and twice I manage to get out in pod from a dictor bubble :O Heart was pumping I tell you. I'm very active in PvP. I lose ships, but rarely I get podded. I always PvP in +3 set clone with siege mindlink. I also fly with a full set of low grade virtue set clone when needed. Plan on getting jamming clone in about a year.
Plus, I did lose sp only once. Lost BC V 4ish years ago, haha.

Its no secret realy, I always pvpin' in +3 clone and making sure skills are training. When I'm gone for awhile or "break" from eve, I jump to +5 clone. At most, I probably lost about 1-2 weeks total worth of SP, there were times I forgot to update. :)
Even if not in a full set of clone, make sure you have at least 2 attribute implants (preferrly +3) to speed up a particular skill. I respecced once last year on perception and will power for a full year. End result, maxed gunnery and missile support skills and some t2 ship skills to V. I recently respecced about last month because I am finished with charisma for the most part. It is currently specced at high intel and memory to polish some related skills (27 intel and memory if you're curious). |

I play with this account sinds 2008 09-02 however i have just only almost 70mil and let me say thats 4 years soon but i have almost 100 lvl 5 skills  so i think next year i made it to 100mil sp  |

I know, I have more than 123.5 M sp. I know what it costs :)
But i still think it is something to be congratulated for. Especially his ability to set goals and achieve them, that's important in EVE.

Hats of to ya. I started EVE way back in in beta, but didn't stick with it, it was a horrble game back then, skill training was very different back then.But imagine the SP I would of had. :( |

How about some coffee break chats with other devs about this to lower this? As this is a restriction to pvp and eve is a pvp game? The argument of more sp is better skills & thus more advantage isnt realy a valid one as lower sp chars can have the same sp set in pvp area skills as higher sp characters.
