Without really being aware of it BYDI has turned 3 years a couple of days ago..
It has been 3 good years and we have seen many pilots come and go but true to the founding spirit Bydi has stayed the same size that we agreed on..
BEYOND DIVINITY INC Some BYDI history
BYDI got formed in April 2005 by Ugluuk,Baagpus and Zeron Zeth..
We started as a merc corp and once the recruitment topic was up a bunch of maniacs joined the corp..
The first crew were all skilled pvp pilots coming from BNC,ATUK and PIE..
We did 9 contracts before we knew it wasn`t for us..9 of 11 pilots were -1,9 and we often had to drop contracts to rat down the sec rating which ofc weren`t good business..
We moved to Hakonen instead were we fought Forsaken Empire (the corp),Celtic Anarchy and more old corporations for the right to live there..This was some great fun against very experienced pilots but as time went by people started to leave the corp and activity were slow..
Then we did the unthinkable..BYDY joined an alliance and the lucky alliance was -V-..It was great times with lots of empire wars but as with everything else it ends sometime.When being ordered to come to 0.0 and defend space we left the next day..Once again we lost many members, this time 5-6 hardcore pilots that stayed in -V-..
So we did what we always do when it goes slow..We moved to Geminate..Up there we totally ran over Stella Nova alliance with our tactics and it was one of the most enjoyable alliances i have ever fought..To this day i still remember and talk to pilots of that alliance..RIP
2006 was a quiet year for me in BYDI as i left the corp a while to fight for a corp i respected alot from fighting them..Alcatraz [ALTZ]
But BYDI is BYDI..You tend to come back after you leave..
Then i take a jump forward in time to the next highlight in Bydi history..The Privateers..The year is 2007 jaunary..
The Privateers was a hated alliance for the station camps but in Bydi style we kept it to a minimum and roamed across Eve..
In 4 months we had 6763 kills and 775 losses..It was in no doubt the highlight of my Eve career and even tho we got the reputation as hauler killers we only killed 440 industrial ships out of all those kills..
With our presence in Privateers we saw many other great corporations follow us and got to fly with X13,Captain Morgan Society and Mentally unstable..Lots of quality pilots that could joined any good pvp corp in Eve..
After pew pews the corp didn`t settle and at one point we had 6 members left of 70..
I was about to give up and disband the corp but as Johnny Rook said: I have no reason to stay in BYDI, but i see no reason to leave either..
So we stayed with the few hardcore members and the corp started growing again during the last half of 2007..The next year was full of experiements where we joined Blind Beavers alliance up in Vale and then when they disbanded shortly after we got invited by Burn Eden to their alliance.An offer we ofc took but as always the good times end and we left as FLA joined..Once again BYDI were moving around unable to settle anywhere and activity were reaching all time lows again..But then we found MH..
Now we have ended up in Molden Heat where the corp has finally settled down..We got a very skilled crew and i am proud to see that we have lasted so long when many others have given up..There is so much i would like to share but i aint got time to do it..
I just wanna mention some pilots that has ment lots to me during these years up until 2008 by taking director roles and really put in an effort for the corp..
I am using the names they have now to avoid confusing people as many have changed names..

Can't believe i got on the first page of this, congrats and to many more; my time in BYDI was very enjoyable as Ugluuk is one sick SOB when it comes to small gang pvp. :)

hey ugluuk, just wanted to gratz you to BYDIs 3y anniversary. i remember chasing your, i think it was a ceptor(or af???), in a gang and you would still manage to get kills on us and get away with it. alone! i was very impressed by that. but tbh i dont remember any other BYDI pilots or gangs from that time. i dunno. it was long time ago. i do remember you exclusively as lone hunter soloing around geminate. back then i was just few months old in eve and total noob who just made his first steps into 0.0. in retrospect i would say, fighting pilots like you was some very nice early pvp learning experience.
btw we, as in FND and myself, are still in geminate

Grats on the anniversary!
I had a character in BYDI for a while years ago and they were a great bunch of people. I didn't have much pvp experience or SP at the time and they welcomed me wholeheartedly.
I would've stayed in longer but at the time there were very few US players so there weren't enough players for me to hang with so I went to a US specific corp.
I had a great time though and learned a lot. Quality folks in BYDI for sure.

Good thing u didn't mention me and Bandid. Last time we took the director role of BYDI for 2 weeks we brought the corp to brink of destruction. :)
Respect to you guys, specially uggy for teaching me the ropes in pvp (and wrecking my wallet by suicide ops). Without u guys I wouldn't be where i am today.
