If a Corp declares war on someone, they should AUTOMATICALLY have a war thrown back at them by the Corp they target.
Can't be exploited, and stops the cowardly Alt Corps from declaring wars for OOE (Out Of Eve) reasons on people who have already used up their war slots.

Edited by: Discorporation on 26/04/2004 15:40:50 Get alt corpx3, declare war on CorpX, and CorpX can't initiate war against anyone anymore.

That, and war goes both ways, once Can Fight is Yes, both parties can initiate agression.

Eh?
Automatic war = When someone declares war on a Corp, their target automatically declares war right back at them, BUT it doesn't use up a war slot.
Likewise, war might go both ways....but what if the target has already used up their war slots? It's what I'm tying to address here.

Err, nothing happens. You can declare 3 wars yourself, but the number of wars you can ahve declared against you is limitless. If someone else declares war against you, it doesn't come off your 3 war slots.
Essentially, each war you have declared against you is a free one.

I thought the aggressor was the only one capable of fighting in empire space without CONCORD retaliation?
That's the impression I get from smug, high-on-themselves griefer Corps.

That's what you get for thinking.

No, both sides can initiate agression.
It's just that one side is usually not equipped or not wanting to fight, that the people who declare war get more kills or initiate the agression all the time.
Most of these alt war-decs and 'grief' war decs are against corps who have none of the resources, experience or desire necessary to fight.

Ah, alright. I'll toddle off and find a solution to that, then.

If you can't handle a fight in a corp, either pay someone to do so, train yourselves up really quick, or disband the corp.
As a corp you MUST be able to defend yourselves to a limited degree - most of the "griefer" wars are against small mining only corps who cannot defend themselves, they usually give up if you give them some resistance though.

We've got only one corp. war against us at the moment.
Someone paid them to kill us but I think they need a refund
All they've done is lose a Tempest and a Rupture to me (how embarrassing for them) while I lost 2 frigates taking on 1 BS and 3 cruisers
That's the last we saw of them, really. I've tried looking for them but majority of their players only fly cruisers/frigates and spend an awful lot of time doing agent missions.
