The asteroid belt was pretty sweet too, if only the belts in EVE were that sweet. You could go into them with frigates to escape battleships lol. I have to admit, if a combat flight sim mmo came out, kinda like freespace and eve combined. I would probably play that too- but only when i'm camped = P Thanks for sharing! I don't want to know what high-end system specs (and the $ associated with it currently) that would be needed to run something like that for an MMO. Ok, so maybe I do...hopefully games like that will be common as in a few years. Thanks for sharing this. My drool is flowing, and I have some high hopes for space-related games now. (More then RTS and PvP rubbish though...I mean real travel with grogeous scenes and SPACE that isn't limited to certain confines.)

I had a solid 80fps with XFX 8600GT 128megs and 2gigs DDR2. Check for background processes?
