Hello all, sorry if this is posted in the wrong place.
I have 2 accoutns currently, I got the second through the power of 2 deal a while back, Im looking to get a 3rd but, do I really have to pay the one off signing up fee again?
Seems a bit daft if you ask me seen as I already pay for 2 accounts. I must be missing something surely?

Even if you buy a GTC they deduct some of the time for the start-up cost afaik. I just bit the bullet and coughed up the extra 5$ usd for the starup <shrug>

From a business perspective wont that put people off getting additional accounts?
I mean, Eve is essentially a business, you would think it would make the effort to look after its existing customers.
You could argue that if someone really wants an extra account they will pay the extra, but I wonder if they have thought about how many people it has potentially put off?
It doesnt seem financially astute to me.

I'm fairly sure I got hit for the "sign-up" fee all three times, for my three accounts. I think I even missed out on the periodic offers made by CCP.
But it's Eve - it's worth every penny.

I've never paid a 'signing up fee', are goons selling accounts now?
Get a 14 day trail, go from there. Not hard.
Edit: Just found this on the website. Shame on CCP tbh. Glad i never got scammed like this.

If you just pay with a GTC you never have to pay the starting up fee. Simple :)

I got two accounts and never got hit with a signup fee for either of them. If that is something they just started, then I have to say that is lame. I dont believe in signup fees. If I got to pay to just to start the account then I dont do it. that is a rip off. Plain and simple.

as mentioned, just buy a GTC. They don't cut off any time from it. I really don't understand the "startup" cost they have, as it's easily avoided by this method. It's completely pointless.

When 14days trial is finished you have to pay the starting fee for account same goes if you upgrade from an active trial account you still have to pay activation fee atleast it was like that for me :) And where the **** is my face lol got tired being faceless xD
