Fink Angel Caldari The Merry Men	Posted - 2008.04.30 23:21:00 - [1] I just sent some money from my sales alt to my main char via "Give Money". It was supposed to be 110 million, but for some reason it came through as 94,586,235.10 ISK! Straight after I topped it up with 15 million which came though exactly as 15,000,000. Now there's no way on earth I tried to type 11 followed by 7 zeroes and accidentally typed 94586235.10 !! Anyone had this bug happen to them? Anyone got any idea of what might have gone wrong? No harm done, but if I'd been transferring money to another player I'd be a bit worried about something other than the precise amount I typed being transferred.

I know when dividending isk from a corporation you cant do more than 2,13x,xxx,xxx (cant remember figures exactly). If you try and do more it'll change just before you click "OK". Could be a similar thing

If you recieve ISK while logged in, the balance shown by your client doesn't update until the next session change or however many minutes elapse. And if you try to send money to someone else, it is auto-corrected to your current wallet balance should you go over. It sounds like you logged in with 94,586,235.10 ISK in your wallet, recieved at least 15.4m ISK, but your client didn't update the wallet balance. So when you send 110m it got corrected to 94.5m

It was in Jita (of course!) so was a bit laggy, but the wallet had updated to 117 million or so before I tried to transfer 100 million of it. I'll post a screenshot of both wallets in this thread when I get home tonight and can access the client. I guess I might file a bug report and point them at this thread.

You are always limited to the value your "hover over wallet" ISK count says, not the actual wallet balance. To correct that, you have to "force" an update - just spnd 0.01 ISK (give to an alt, deposit in corp wallet, etc). It's a client bug 1\|2\|3\|4\|5.

I sold a GTC taking, for example, my balance of 94million to 244million, I've then tried to send MORE than 94million to my other character, but it is capped at 94million on the first try, leaving me with exactly the 150million that I just made from the GTC sale. On the second attempt, I have been able to move more. I think it is a bug or a delay in updating exactly how much ISK you have. Edit: Have overcome this by making the signature on my alt the same as my main.
