One hour waste time to find it. Frist poket about 25+ roid Veldspar 3 small roid of jaspet. Second Pocet 20+ Veld roid, small 8 roid of Omber. Npc som small frigates and destroyers easy to pop.
What of kind gravi thys is ?if is something to mining but gate alowed max destroyers ;/ Newbi need go frigate and mining 50 roids one weak for a small amount of isk ? but frist need train science skill (scaning like me) lvl 5 astro trigulation and lvl 5 astro pinpointing to find crap in space?

Edited by: Iris Lyania on 01/05/2008 23:02:28 You found an unknown site not a gravimetric one. And btw you can also find radar sites with magnetometric probes or vise versa. Read the description on the probes. They have sensor strength for all 4 types. It might take longer but you can find gravis also with a ladar probe.

Huh ok so u have right...but what mean unknow :D is anomaly ? kuz i dont select anomaly in scaner but only cosmic signatures and then i find signal :P Btw unknow can be larar or radar if yes why multi probe dont show corect name of signal (ladar or radar) but unknow :D mysterius for me xD

Ok what most probably happened when you scanned was the following:
You scanned with a multifrequency probe for cosmic signatures and the result was unknown and gravimetric. You launched the gravimetric quest probes at each planet and finally got a hit and found it with your gravimeric sift probes thinking it has to be the gravimetric site because you used gravimetric probes.
What you found wasn't the gravi site it was the unknown one, a fight plex. Unknown does not mean that it isnt clear which kind of site it is. Every unknown site is a fight plex. The type of probe you use to scan for it doesnt matter, you can use all 4 types, all will have the same chance to find the unknown site. They are diferent to gravi sites for example where gramimetric probes will give the best chance to find them due to an increased gravimetric sensor strength of such probes. It's quite normal when you got and unknown and a radar or some kind of other hit with the multi probe, you will find the unknown site first in 95% of the cases. So never stop scanning with quest if you got the first hit, continue until you get a second hit somewhere else. I suggest you read DNightmares Exploration guide.

Edited by: Chigger Troutslayer on 02/05/2008 12:18:55 My strategy when I get an Unknown and another specified type in a system is to set out the quests of the appropriate type and scan until I get a hit. Destroy the one quest probe that covers the hit and move down to a stronger probe there. Keep scanning with the rest of the quests while you try to pinpoint the first deadspace signature that hit. Sure there is the chance that by destroying the quest probe you might not be covering both deadspace signatures anymore especially if its at an inner planet covering multiple planets. If you're losing coverage on just one outer planet chances are low. Once you second site hits destroy the rest of the Quest probes and work on pinpointing them concurrently. Did this lat night got 0 meter results within 10 minutes of each other for both sites. |
