Lemptie Gallente Glass House	Posted - 2008.05.02 18:21:00 - [1] Says it all .provide us all nick names ,as alot multiplayers games do.They do it because of metagaming.Since you guys thought a sandbox game would be fun .There are in RL 4 guys killed .457 Members got some kind of abuse by eve players.Lets change that or the euro parlement will ban your game.It`s not that i care for those that got killed about a game.Don`t complain about it in here ccp ,you killed 4 guys and did make this a satan game.

Secondly, if this is a "satan game" why are you paying CCP money to be here? Thirdly, you do realize that people make up stuff like this to sensationalize gaming, right? Fourthly, if that is your attitude, then nothing is forcing you to participate in this "satan game." And I strongly suggest that it would be best for all of us if you voluntarily removed yourself from the community if we are so abusive. And lastly, why the hell would the EU ban this game? They don't have better things to do? Or are you personally leading a write in campaign to promote the idea?

I have played off and on since Beta. Back when the server had less than 4K people online at any time. Now between Dragon and Sing there is never less than 60K. I don't see this as a failure especially since it weathered some of the largest MMO releases ever and still grows. As far as the game being responsible for killing people. How did the game do this? People kill people some people will blame anything but the parents, society and mental disabilities. As long as I have been alive people have blamed cartoons, Video games , D&D and a number of things contributed to a persons death. The type of person that kills or kills themselves would do it over a TV show being canceled if it wasn't for the game. It is not CCPs responsibility to make sure all it's players are mentally stable. Here is the real story if someone died over the game they were mentally bent and they would have found some reason to harm another or themselves. I don't even believe this is real this is a Troll trying to start something. This is another post in a long line of recent post that started when CCP *****ed down on ISK sellers. Either that or something went wrong in the game and they want to try and cause a controversy. He is a secrete ... Since Everquest (probably earlier than that) online games have been blamed for peoples deaths. NOT A SINGLE GAME has been held responsible for the deaths nor has it been Banned (in some cases it even made the game bigger because of the free advertisement). Lemptie BTW 0.0 is nice and healthy. Eve is not a everybody game but it has it's appeal. CCP is also developing World of Darkness MMO hardly failing. I'm sorry you are delusional in your rant.

I remember the news article, 2 brothers playing on a train Trestle, one shoots the other with his .22 cal rifle, and kills him... it was blamed on the fact they played Advanced Dungeons and Dragons... Another Article was about a College student from Chicago woke up in New York, again, blamed on AD&D... I also remember the Late Gary Gygax answering with the points that in the first case, AD&D did not have guns, trains and there were some other issues with the pair that had a whole lot more to do with the death then AD&D... as for the second, the weekend the College Student woke up in New York started at a party with much drinking and drugs... it was his buddies that stuck his drunk butt on the plane... again, nothing to do with AD&D... I am guessing the OP has found an equally good link between the death of 4 people and Eve Online...

I try to follow EVE related news pretty closely, and in the nearly 3 years I have been playing I have seen no news stories that have tied EVE to any sort of murder. I would think that if something like the whole corrupt dev scandal made such a huge ruckus, that people being murdered over this game would not be something that slips between the ***s. Speaking of ***, I have the suspicion that the OP should lay off for a while, or at the very least try not to post while under the influence.
