Red Frog has broken a package, so their pilot told me. Then he tried to sell the content to me by contract, which was odd since I have not received the collateral of the broken delivery. I had to reject the offer and told him to first fail the contract before he tries to sell to me what is already mine. I really should have cashed in on the collateral, but I bought it of the pilot and just reduced the reward, which was never paid, down to 1m ISK.
About 10 contracts then took 5 days(!) to complete.
Next time RF is at "Kragen" will I give some other hauler corporation a chance. The last two weeks certainly sucked for me. --

Whitehound, I am very sorry for your experiences during our wars + Hulkaggeddon, and I want to thank you for your feedback.
Point 1. Broken package. That specific contract got a bug where the complete and fail button was missing. The pilot clicked the repackage option by a mistake instead of petitioning it, or moving the contract alt to the location, trying to complete it in station.
Our internal procedures for accidental repackaging or breakage of packages are that we should contract the content to the client with the collateral as the price, and no reward. The contract should only be failed after contact with the customer has taken place, although in this case, with a missing complete and fail button, this might have been difficult, until either the complete and fail buttons reappeared, or the contract expired, then the client can claim the collateral.
Point 2. Waiting times: The queue during the latest week has been up in 320 outstanding contracts at most. (kraken level = 150 contracts). The average completed contracts have been 148 contracts pr day for the period. While we have kept our number of completed contracts pr day about equal or better than our normal war periods, we did not anticipate the huge increase in contract volume that took place during Hulkaggeddon, and in the preparation for Hulkaggeddon. This did create a queue we were not manned to handle in our normal 48 hour time we state during wars. Some clients had to wait for over 5 days to get all their contracts done, and we deeply apologize for that.
We have hired several new pilots to keep up with the extra demand, and the queue is starting to get under control. We still have contracts that are older than 48 hours out that we are trying to clear from our queue.
Again, I am very sorry for your experience (and others) during the latest two weeks.

It looked very much like a scam at that point. I would have laughed if your pilot would have insisted on doing it his way.
But anyhow, if you are loaded with work will I try to use some other hauling corp. No idea which one, but just to get my stuff moved faster and to help you, too. It makes no sense to give you more and more contracts when you are already too busy, but it only leads to longer times for everyone. You may even want to refer your customers to another, friendly hauler corporation in such times.

I'll jump in for just a moment, if you don't mind. I have anticipated that Hulkageddon will make an impact on delivery times and calculated the delay in advance. Many players tend to use freighter services during Hulkageddon, especially at the time when they've stated that industrials are a target too. People just want their stuff to be safe that's why they hire 3rd party with collateral.
That being said, a couple of days of delay doesn't mean much to me as I've already counted on delay, considering the circumstances. RF Freight service is still very professional and reliable even in the most harsh situation possible (wardec + mutated Hulkageddon that targets industrials).
Thumbs up, guys. Keep up the good work.
