We need a way to filter contents of hangar and corporate hangars in a way similar to overview settings. Currently we ither have a large list of items in hangar or use a set of named containers to organize things. The second approach doesn't allow remote manufacturing/research and corp assets delivery and querying. Having a filter would be a good solution to all these problems.
There should be way to save different filter settings (same as overview), way to switch between them (like overview tabs) a way to quickly add and remove item groups to current filter (like one or two click way to rule out all ECMs from current setting). |

I dunno. That phrase "Did You tried" just gets me for some reason.
Aside from broken English and inconsistent capitalization, the ability to filter by meta level, damage, t1/2 status is a REALLY good idea. A few killboards have little purple/blue/whatever tags for faction, officer loot, and it makes it REALLY easy to sort at a glance.
I've often wished for better sorting options after dumping a few dozen missions worth of junk into one can and having to sort it into useful, sellable, and reprocess piles. Doing it piece by piece gets old.

As I've been saying: enable a similar grouping to assets/hangar contents like the one for market. IMO it's a great way to sort items. Anyone ever played Independence War 2? The way the inventory listing worked was fantastic. /me want more tools for sorting my stuff. :D

Agree totally, all you need to do is modify the market window for Personal and Corporate inventories, via the drop down selection

For me, folders would be better than filters. As a mission runner, I would like to make 4 folders in the station:
1) Ship fitting #1 (PvE)
2) Ship fitting #2 (Salvager)
3) Salvaged items
4) Other stuff
Then I can make folders like "Stuff for Jim" and "Sell this with the market goes back up" etc.

Folders should be similar to overview tabs - you can set each "folder" to display itemas according to one of your predefined filters. |
