WeÆre so lonely: Friendly team of directors seeking good sports of all races and professions.
A mature, friendly attitude is more important to us than your skillpoints or specialization. We have a small core group of pilots on a first name basis, who tell silly jokes, and we want to keep the happy atmosphere.

Earn shares and dividends for participation in group activities. Newcomers have a voice. The most active become the most powerful. Also, Purifying Flame can do research and copying for members.
Our POS is in high security Gallente space, but we are pushing into a 0.0 alliance, because we wanted an adventure. Therefore, funding is offered for pvp classes, for those interested. Note that we are not a pirate corp; we just like explosions.
Some of our directors are bloodthirsty killers, and will welcome new combat pilots. Some of the directors concentrate more on melting those asteroids into bullets. We believe a strong corporation needs both types of members, and that a fun corporation also makes room for a few oddballs who plot their own course.
TeamSpeak is used for group ops or shooting the breeze (but you are not required to use a microphone). A new website is being built right now by somebody's long-suffering, talented wife.

Belonging to a small corp has advantages. Everybody knows who you are. You have influence over how the organization is run, and what direction it takes for the future.
There are also disadvantages. We are not feared by the mightiest in the galaxy, and patience is required while our numbers grow.

Hurrah! We had another member meeting. 
We voted to join an alliance we have had our eyes on, to offer more opportunities for our members to join gangs of various types.
The new website looks great and is almost ready to launch.
There was talk of hats.
Then we celebrated the end of the meeting by hunting for can flippers.
Oh, and squeaky toys are no longer allowed on TeamSpeak. 
New recruits are still welcome.

We provide free ammo to members. Limited-run bpc's available to members. And assorted stuff.
Also, I should mention that we are not a pirate corp.
I tried being a pirate, my first day in EVE. But I didn't have the heart to shoot the other newbies.

Purifying Flame has closed recruitment temporarily during wartime.
On the bright side, I've been learning a lot about fleet operations. For example, be sure to go potty first.
