Learn to fly them right. A good pilot specced in Amarr ships are nasty to fight... like an any pilot specced in any race with a brain.

Define PVP, small gang, fleet, roaming, snipe, gank and bake?
 minmatar are the best small roaming, gank, vaga, rap etc
caldari are best for fleet falcon, scorp
Gallente are best for fleet snipe etc, and a little solo
Amarr....you know i dont really know about all those freakin lazer beams but a dev onces said that "Amarr is the most skill intensive race but once you reach a high SP they are the most skilled"  teh only thing i know amarr is good for is learnin how to complain

1. define PVP i.e. the skill groups you need for that
2. identify the attribs for those
3. find the race that natively delivers the best values for those attribs (do not disregard the secondary attribs tho)
You may want to disregard the races that come with high charisma or with high values for secondary attribs.
At this point involve EveMon, make a full training plan, play with implant calculator until you find the combination that delivers fastest training time
4. disregard those who say caldari race is s**t, some say caldari ships might be like this for pvp but not the race itself
As regards training alts, maybe in this millenium CCP will realize that delivering some functionality for skill queue training will bring them more subscriptions.
I will quickly open 1 or 2 extra accounts if i wont have to log on each 30 mins to change skills which are at level 1-3 for example

An Amarr/Gallente mix is pretty hot. As long as you do lasers/drones then branch off into Gallente drone boats like the Ishtar, and Dominix.

Hello Mr Freemarket,
I remember you from your days down south...fun days...so your in Pure now.
Nothing wrong with Amarr PVP. Curse is sweet and one of the few ships most Recons run like hell from. Pilgrim is a nice support ship. Zealot is very effective solo or gangs.
Absolution is a pretty fine command. I really dont see the problem...
I know Pure doesnt do alot of roaming but you guys really should get out more. Then you will see that the ships I recommend will prove very useful.
However, if you still feel another Alt to train, then Minmatar is your best bet and train specifically for Vagabond. In the meantime, train for a Stabber and fly it around on your current account and see if you feel comfortable. This is how most PVP is done these days, and it is alot of fun.
