Currently it's far too easy and cheap to wardec a corp or an alliance and just keep the wardec going forever. I don't think any corp should be immune to wardecs but if a corp or alliance wants to wage war against a single opponent continiously he should pay for it.
That's why I propose that wardec fees for non mutual wars should be raised exponentially every week. The "counter" could then reset after a month or so to prevent corps from withdrawing for a day and then redeccing again at a reduced price.
Obviously there's some self interest here as we're often the target of prolongued pointless wardecs. Again, no one should be immune to that but it should cost the agressor.

All this would do is stop young corps declaring war. Older war dec corps are not short of money, so it wouldn't matter to them.
Eve is a PvP game, the last thing we need is features that discourage PvP. |

I would say that the better choice would be to exponentially increase wardec fees over time, _regardless_ of who declares war on a corp.
example:
Corp A declares on corp B pays C isk
one week later, Corp A does not renew, but Corp D declares.
Corp D pays 4xC isk for the wardec. Corp E next week pays 16xC Corp F next week pays 64xC
The longer Corp B is under continuous non-consensual wardec, the more expensive it gets to wardec them again, regardless of who is doing the wardeccing.
If the corp is allowed to return to peace, the wardec fee will reduce at the inverse rate that it went up. After 1 at peace week corp G could wardec at 16xC
If at any time Corp B initiates war for any reason, cost to wardec them immediately drops to C |
