Keep hearing buzz about things heading towards race vs race wars.
Although this is probably a load of BS (and I don't mean battleships), it appears to have been mostly prompted to the lengthening of the corridors between empires.
Personally - I think it'd be cool, but I would say that.
Wonder whether the newly upgraded servers could handle so much battling though... Would prolly have to go to an NPC corp to join in too... hmmmmmm

You are saying I shold get my arse out of Gallante space 
I doubt it will come to a war as to many peoples live would be disrupted (I¦m all for it btw  )

And why not, lots of peoples lives are disrupted by war all the time in RL, why should EvE be different. I'd be well up for it too, just for the chance to gank some of my corpmates

There's enough PC warring going atm, I dont see the need for an NPC driven one too. It would just confuse matters and create more mess imho.

The back lash if was ever to be concidered would be huge. All the peaceful players would be up in arms about it......er in a metaphoric sense.
I would personally love to see it happen, add a little spice to whole make up of the universe.

I think quite alot of players who throw a fit if player corp declares war on them would have much less problem with an NPC/race war. It might well get alot of the furry ones into some fighting.

Nah, don't think it'll happen. Not in the traditional sense, anyway (no Amarr vs Minmatar, no Caldari vs Gallente),

I think the idea of hearing about this is to raise the tenstions between the factions so that more RP goes on. I very much doubt there will ever be all out war as this would prevent any new ppl playing the game without being shot to bits.
The current system allows pvp ppl to join corps who are at war and keeps the safe areas for new ppl.
(Ps im not against this idea cos i personally think it would be a good laugh, and seeing as how my corp is at war with most of the minmitar world it wouldnt make much difference anyway)

I see your point especially about the new people, but this wouldn't stop say the Minmatar Republic fleet going crazy ont he Amarr NPC fleet (sorry Amarrians, don't have much truck in your areas). Participants go join the NPC corp of your choosing, all others are neutral.
It'd be fun to do and would at least get something back on track towards the EvE story, lots of these alt corps would disappear because there'd be no end of targets, or even better whole corporations could affiliate themselves with either side.
Big NPC fighting, wages paid for the soldiering etc.
That'd be really good.

We're not as easily swayed as to fall for the masspsychosis thesis of any one races genetical superiority and will not partake in anything as degenerate as a racial war.
