Battleships have a fairly good chance.
3-4 neuts, 2 heavy cap boosters, web, mwd, (web drones), overheat.

Ant this is exactly why i spent the extra isk on that 30 k scram, cost a small fortune but completely changes the way you fly a recon. It changed bs from "mabey" to "this is going to take a while" while freeing up alot of that cpu issues too.

Variant of most of the others here but deadly none the less.
I should point out that if you don't run a probe launcher than you wont have the cpu issues some of us do, and since you're fitting tii instead of faction a corpii c-type small nos has just over 25k range at lvl 5 and only cost 5 mil, the high cycle time more than makes up for the amount nossed (which i respectable considering). -------------------------

And who would actually fit such a BS to go out and hunt nano-curse? You can trap one to engage u, but that's pretty much it. With heavy web drones 2 neuts should be enough for most BSs...a Geddon, a Mega or Domi...all "could" work, but all these assumptions are hugely based on pilot skills etc.
Even with overheating, each and every BS is way slower than a nano-hac / recon and of course ceptors. It maybe faster than nano AFs (lolz). If it wasn't so, heavy neuts would make all nano-setups obsolete... And making a nano-ship "run", it's not solo-ing a nano-ship. Nano setups are popular exactly cause u can run away from ships that surprise u, not cause they are unbeatable if you choose to stay and fight. The curse is avg if its not faction fitted. Once it is faction fitted, speed rigs, and if you have a snake set, then you are just amazing. But thats one expensive ship.

So true. Wise words.
Also to the bob guy above me, this also very true. A snake set and a faction scram make this ship really friggin hard to kill.

For me solo and fleet setups are quite different. In gang i am mainly the neuter so i fit a neut heavy setup, and for that i prefer a cap battery cause that lets me stay in fight longer where as booster run out quickly.
Now for solo i prefer 1 neut and 2 nos setup with cap boosters. Early in the fight i activate it all. In the beginning nos are kind of useless as u have more cap then him and it doesnt work. But after a while your neuts + mwd + scram + TD starts draining your cap and thats when the nos kicks in.
Advantage of this is that i get to perma run my neut using his cap, which kinda helps vs the cap boosted targets as they run out of charges quick. By this time i try to kill of his drones to make things easier for me.
Also i prefer 2 heavy missile sometimes as its hard to stop him from shooting my drones, so i have to use ecm drones to stop him locking anything. And then u need something to throw at him. :)
It doewsnt always work for me as ppl can surprise with diff setups , i just try to be careful about picking my targets.

If you have friends, then maybe yes. Solo, definately not, since the huginn/rapier has to go into the curses neut range in order to scram him. And i hope it is clear what happens to a huginn/rapier with no cap to web/mwd while being trackingdisrupted and with a pack of bonussed Hammerhead II's on him. ***Sig***

o/ again endless
i fly the curse now and tbh, the target selection is kind of thin. you have to avoid targets where cap doesnt matter (drake, minmatar thingies) and i know, its slow as hell for a nano, but it works, especially on amarr/gallente ships
1 LSE is a small buffer, but it can work if you are good and lucky =D
dont inject, use a large battery II and 3x cap recharge mods, you can nearly permarun 2 neuts and MWD.
yep, low DPS, welcome to recons =( tbh, duo with an arazu, have him keep the target pointed at 40km and sit out at 30 with MWD on.. that helps, alot.
oh.. dont try to fit the probe launcher.. i have tried, and yuck.. impossible this out of all will remain, they have lived and have tossed; so much of the game will be gain, though the gold and the dice have been lost. |

impossible to fit recon probe launcher? that is not true and not to fit it, is a crime, it is supposed to fight @safespots :)
and btw you dont need to perma run 2 neuts and mwd -.-
