Top of the evening!
I'm interested in joining a smaller corporation, with lenient rules and a friendly, mature player base. I fly minmatar, and am just beginning to wrap my head around the Eve universe. Just know enough to be dangerous, although by my estimation, that'd be more to myself than anyone else. At this point anyway. Which is why I need a corp. I play on the Atlantic time zone and am mostly casual. On the odd weekend, I get some hardcore playing sessions in, but thats not always guaranteed.
I'm mostly into pve mission running, and learning from the pros and general comradery. In the future, I would like to evolve in some small, skirmish pvp sessions.
Some notes, as much as I adore Eve, I consider it a momentary escapism, not a part time job. I will walk away from gaming at the drop of a hat if something better comes along. I only mention that because in other mmo's, I've been booted from guilds for "not taking it seriously enough".
One other thing, I have a unique situation which makes using Voice chat impossible. I reckon that excludes me from the larger pvp fights I keep reading about, but so be it. I can type fast and communicate quite well enough with text.

We are a new corp, pretty lenient on the rules other than limiting pirate actions against Amarr pilots only. Take a look here at our forum recruitment thread, and if you are interested, contact us in-game via the MSED-Public channel, EVEmail, or whatever your prefered method is.

Jeeze....you fit right in check out the above Recruitment for us under the title " We will train you ".
Not only do we do gangs but we also do Gate camps and we most importantly try to have a laugh and enjoy ourselves.

Hey Vox,
It is good to see someone looking for all the right reasons, as part of the enjoyment of an MMO is well... enjoying it!
Make the best of what you have got and keep on the path you've set for yourself, as you'll find many casual guilds are only so casual as the circumstances dictate at any given moment. When things get in the rough, a lot of casual guilds will go into overdrive and expect their members to do so as well.
That being said, I do not really have a recruitment website, or nifty FAQ for you to read, or even a real nice pitch (though I'm going to be posting one on this forum shortly) but I can tell you that I GMd an endgame guild in WoW for nearly a year and a half, led 40man, 20man, and 10man raids for three days a week nearly eight months straight. Notably, we still maintained a casual atmosphere where although people could devote as much time as they wanted to the guild, they were not prohibited from enjoying the game as they saw fit, even if it meant not raiding at all and just hanging out!
If you are looking for a mature casual environment I am sure you can find it with any of the corps listed above, but please consider the experience levels of the CEOs as well. Every casual gaming consortium in any MMO still needs to be led by a seasoned veteran leader to achieve the kind of comfort zone you desire. Someone who's been through it all, and come out a better person because of it.
