was there ever a release of how much of a type of t2 bpos was release?
such as how many small spike ammo bpos were release?
i was just wondering if there was a list or was it all random back in the day.

Only a Dev or GM could really know. Unless some players have been keeping track of how many BPO's have been made by CCP in the past 5 years - but even still, if there was any secret BPO's spawned, players would have no way of knowing about them.

I personally have 1 that i've never used. Cost more to make than buy....

There were secret BPOs spawned.
The players still found out, eventually.

Remember that there was additional round of seedings, before they ended it all?
So we are talking at least 8 more per each modifier. I would say: 16-24 Per Ship, 32-52 Per mod, and 64+ for ammo.

There was no price fixing, no more than there are now, rather less I'd imagine with the control of the valuable moons on a select few hands.

You can't undercut a BPO owner with invention, unless you think you're making it for less, does happen, but not hugely likely. However there are still plenty of items out there that have more supply than demand and thus prices are around production cost (and so sometimes less and sometimes more). The crappy T2 ammo, mining crystals for worthless ores etc etc. Quite a few others. Beleive it or not, just because an industralist got a T2 BPO in a lottery doesn't mean they won't insanely produce from it and sell for lower than that cost them, they may simply just not run the numbers given that T2 = profit in most people's minds. Generally once invention becomes profitable, the BPO owners are making a profit, if invention isn't profitable, BPO ownership is probably not any more profitable than T1 BPO ownership at best. Supply and Demand, the supply from some items is just going to be high, so many BPO owners pumping out supply incase the price actually does go up, for around the cost price.
This ONLY works for BPOs where they produce more supply than the market demands. For everything else, the price is purely set by inventors so there's got to be some built in profit that will make it worthwhile, particularly for ships where the invention cost is higher.
