Ok i fly a paladin a fair bit in missions and have noticed that even with max skills its powergrid is very tight and you are unable to fit t2 tackies or even faction ones if you also have a good tank. I was wondering if the other mauraders have similar problems or is it just amarr being $&^%*ed again.

Yeah, i think most of them have that problem. I don't think the minmatar one (name?) can fit 4 1400s, with even 3 pg rigs, if i remember my EFT correctly. The Golem needs at least 1 pg rig to fit torpedoes, but Golem is nice with cruises anyway. Never EFT'd a Kronos though.

I have heard the vagur has tremendous problems, dont feel you are getting shafted mate, I fl a pala and have been told they go through their missions faster than any other marauder. The tip with fitting t2 tachs is an amarr navy LAR btw, apart from that 3 heat sinks and your tachs are your tank, an they are good.

I got golem with t2 sieges without any power rigs fitted, no tractor beam or salvagers fitted though

Edited by: Ishina Fel on 08/05/2008 07:54:14 The Paladin is almost laughably easy to fit, comparing to anything else BS-sized in the game. Of course four t2 tachs and a dual LAR 2 tank will be impossible, but even with 1 LAR you should easily be able to do any L4 mission (especially if you shell out for a faction rep).
Granted, there is one ship which flattens everything in terms of fitting space, and that is the Kronos. You can fit four 425mm II's, two LAR II's and a 100MN AB II on it, and you'll still have over 260 grid and nearly 300 cpu left to play with. It is more or less impossible to create a mission fitting that does not fit on a Kronos, no matter how excessive (ok, with hybrid weapon rigs you may be able to push the grid need up enough to do it ).

Tis true. Will even fit an officer web along with 425s and AB, single rep though i think. Not exactly a serious fit but a fully officer fitted kronos certainly looks like it would be funny.

Thats not true. The Golem is one of the Ships, which is really easy to fit. I use a complete T2-Fitting with T2 Siege Launcher, T2 X-Large Booster, Tractor, 2 Salvagers without any PG-Modules(PDS, RCU) or Rigs and have still >300 PG left.
