Has anyone ever tried taking out the fleet that reinforces after about 2 hours in Portal to War part 2?
I read that its a large fleet, but is it comparable to for example the last stage of Human Cattle and the fleet there?

Yeah, a good while back when our characters were much younger some corpmates and I tried it, think we had about 6 BS total......lost two of them within a minute I think, rest got out alive but just. Probably not best fitted ships, or best skilled pilots (well, me anyway  ) but still....

Heh yeah, tried and eventually got it done after a long long right. It involved 4 drakes, 1 basilisk and some other ships.
If I ever have to do that on my own, I would try to get through that part asap, if I don't get it done, wait until DT..

Several times. I've done it in a Machariel twice and in a Typhoon 4 or 5 times. Just keep your distance and you're good. Oh, and bring _lots_ of ammo with you.

Last I did it, it had about a dozen battleships the same number of battlecruisers/cruisers and a handful of frigates. Some (4-5) of the cruisers were NPC HAC's.
