Piracy is a way of making people to come to grips with the fact that saying "eve is a cold harsh world" is NOT a form of role-play.
0.0 is a place where one blob really can make a difference.
PVP WCS is a newb's condom that can use some gentle poking.

Well unless the devs made a change that made it no longer the EVE we know & love, which is doubtfull, I would agree. I might take breaks here or there, but i know i would never leave perminently.

I get bored of mining plag and shooting rats just like everybody else, but I always find that I can come back and keep playing. It could be the skill system, player run ecomomy or the ever evolving nature of Eve. Might even be the fact that the fact that CCP are on the forums and actively working with the players (as much as possible I'm sure) to better the game for all. Dare I say it I've grown accustomed to my avatar.

Eve is a simulation within a simulation within a simulation to put people into a situation where they must survive a harsh capitalist world while playing a character in a game trying to survive in a harsh capitalist world while the top level simulation has everyone fighting to escape from a perfect model of a city at the end of the 20th century. The truth being that machines have taken over and turned humanity in cap rechargers and only Theodore Logan can save them by using a time machine that looks like a phone booth while George Carlin goes into another comic and rather immature rant about people who use slings to carry around babies while using credit cards to buy soft rock and steely dan in a tend on top of a mountain IN SPACE!!!!!
