I been playing eve for some time, i made my way to the "top" did alot of missions pvp now and then, until i was recruited for a merc corp, wich i enjoyed alot, so after living in 0.0 isk started to run out, and with the wars it was even harder to maintain isk to refit ships etc.
until i came to a point that i had no isk nor ships left, and there for desided to quit playing eve online.
after 6 months i reactivated my account, so i could start playing this great game again. but now still the only problem that remains is the -sec state of -8.44,
Is the only way to fix this (to -2.0 so i can do proper missions again and start making isk again) is by ratting?
I mean i would gladly pay 20-50 euro's so i can enjoy this game as i want now, instead of sitting in a shuttle in a station waiting for a miracle to happen.
So is there a way to fix this in another way then just to rat 24/7 over and over and over again? wich won't be posible in my shuttle and 200 k isk, since i don't want to just give up my char. all that is needed is the -sec state fixed so i can enter "secure" space.

Undock in your pod, dock at a station in which you have no ships.
You'll be given a shiny new newbie ship you can use to kill frigate and maybe cruiser rats.
It won't be long before you could afford a cruiser/battlecruiser, then you can take on bigger rats.
Or you could do level one missions in your newbie frigate too.
It's a crappy situation you've found yourself in, but it's not impossible. You could also rat/mission with friends in bigger ships. - Support fixing the UI|Suggest Jita fixes|Compact logs |

I'm located in -0.3/-0.2 systems and even in -0.4 "pirates" shoot at everything that floats in space....

or you could train an alt and use it to make ISK and then send it to your main. if you do the skills right your mission-alt should be running level 4 mission in under two months. ~~~~ ~~~~ ~~~~ Take away the risk and it would make flying around in space utterly pointless.
Take away the flying around part and you make EVE into a space themed spreadsheet application. |

Fixing sec status is simpple.
You keep podding people so long, that your negative sec status will do full sircle and you come back +10.
Go west long enought and you come from the east, you know.

Edited by: Equin on 09/05/2008 19:42:15 Buy a timecard and sell it. Get a battlecruiser, put a cloak on it. Go find a quiet 0.0 area and rat your sec status back. Might be best to join a corp that has a 0.0 home so you can rat with at least some friendly's around.

You take some of those euros and go to Shattered Crystal and buy one or two 30 day time codes. You then go to the GTC sales forum and sell them there for 140-150 mil ISK per code. After this your character has 100+ mil to buy a new ship and fittings. You can run missions in low sec, alternatively occupy some system in 0.0 away from stations and major traffic and rat there for battleship rats. Train fast talk lvl 4 as the skill is no longer broken.
