Back in January when I was in Aliastra I decided to go shoot stuff. This video is the result of my adventures. I just used vegas for the first time and the editing isn't fancy and the footage is just decent, I was lazy when making it so there is no extra info like ships vs ships etc. But anyway here you go and I hope you enjoy it:

From what I seen was a very good movie but I closed it as soon as you cyno'd a thanatos into a fight on a gate which you could probably have won without the capital, tbh thought that was lame and closed it and didnt watch the rest.

It was lame which is why I put it in the video. Once the cyno dropped the fight went down hill so I figured I would put a failed hotdrop in the movie since nobody likes it . Only reason I cynoed was because of a bored carrier pilot and it was the largest gang I could find at the time, the rest after that is all solo with no cynos attached .

The rest of the movie was very good, id recommend you watch the parts that you missed. True, hot dropping isnt the coolest thing to do, but everybody does something funky now and then. The video shouldn't be judged by it, as the OP more often than not fights outnumbered battles

gneez - you are a jerk face. i think hotdrops are cool. and it would have been an impossible fight to finish with ship intact. osiris occido (sp?) knows what hes doing and those guys dont give up easy.

watched the rest of it, great movie, and I woke up with a sandy vagina today but i still reckon hotdropping like that is the bane of eve, cant count the amount of times people chase me about in carriers or dreads, few weeks ago some idiot dropped 2 thanatos on my arbitrator  anyway v.good movie

theres no doubt hot drops can easily make fun engagements, not fun. however- i think that the ability to throw 2bil at a 200mil engagement, is good for the game. it creates the opportunity for epic engagements where a larger gang is quickly a huge underdog and then sometimes can still pull it off. or can one-up the hot droppers. i always sigh when i get a carrier dropped on me solo, but im glad people do it. they are risking a lot more than i am and it offers up the chance for really cool fights.
anyway. on to your claymore vid gneez =)

Just curious... I am using the Combined Community Codec Pack.

oh yes I remember that hotdrop :D (that was my tempest escaping in structure) It was nice to see it from your perspective. What isn't listed there is the # of different factions in your gang; makes it hard to scout it all and tell who's with who, hence the fun/challenge of low sec. Like that little t1 frigate in yer gang that blew up as I went into warp in that scene; not sure how he got criminally agressed but i remember that executioner's name "failboat" that was running around that evening, yapping in local. A sign of things to come i suppose lol. we did loose two ships in that engagement (our huginn that had no shields, was flagged, and tackled you lol) and the myrm who was a bit trigger happy, but it would have been interesting to see what would happen if you didn't prematurely ejaculate the sex panther carrier.
Good fun always to be had in our neck of the woods. We're on a slight vacation from the area atm, but we'll be back around soon enough (though we only did stumble into your bunch the one time).
Also, awesome closing scene with the absolution+sentries vs. pirates. They kept giving you ship one after another; that was some dedication.
