not sure if this in right section but here goes.
i am looking to start doing a little pvp to pass time but am quite new to game, i was wondering how the concord curity rating works
1. how much do you loose for destroying a player ship/pod
2. whats the best way to gain it back
3. how much does it really effect you to have a back rating
cheers and soz if it a dtupid quest

why dont you come and travel over to low sec and we can test that out for ya and see

initiating combat: -0.5%
ship destruction: -2.0%
pod destruction: -12.5%
penalties are applied to the difference between your current sec status and -10.0
ship destruction sec hit only applies if they do not shoot back at you, if they do you only take the hit for initiating combat and podkill. none apply if the target is outlaw; only pod applies if the target is not outlaw but is globally flagged.
best way to gain it back is to not care about gaining it back.
how much it effects you depends on how much you like highsec.
